I love that F82 kinda Sound... weird but somehow its got that similar sound. Anyway beautiful power gained. I love the work put into the Eventuri cars👌🏾✅
Wow this little car is a very nice bit of kit, and on that note even faster then a bmw 320i, impressive, what would be like with a stage 2 remap, Who would have thought 💭
@@Ben-in6qh you get what you pay for, if you don't like it, don't buy it, just don't try to push the idea that it doesn't work, if you are unable to look at the chart and see gains on the order of 20bhp mid rpm range maybe you are just fool
Some good gains. Cannot but help mentioning that tinny exhaust note at high rpm is not good at all. Would be interesting to calculate cost of each hp gain. Interesting content as allways.
Indeed...I've been wondering if that tinny sound means something in the new exhaust is not properly tight--it sounds to me like a metal part is vibrating that shouldn't be. Maybe the tips or heat shielding need to be tighter? I don't think it's turbo noise, which usually sounds like a whistle, not a bizarre scream.
They are just worried about the gains not the quality of the sound which is a shame. There are various options on the market that makes much more justice to the sound, just a question of finding the better of both worlds.
I guess the intake in this GR is more efficient than the ones on other cars then ? For example, several M140i tuners have demonstrated that their B58 actually loses power in real terms, with an Eventuri intake, compared to the stock BMW airbox ...
Not bad for a modified Air Flow System. But there are other Ways to increase the Power with less Money even with an special Exhaust. But hey, the Design is also not too bad and an Eye Catcher for which other will pay for! Keep up your good Work! 👍
The Government were telling us we couldn’t attend our families funerals over the Covid period, not to mix with more than 1 household. All the time they were partying like rock stars. There’s ways and means like they were doing.
It all depends on how the ECU works, what strategy it is using to make power. Most cars will respond well to products that are an actual improvement over the standard part. That's not to say ECU tuning couldn't extract even more power.
Nice result esp on a modern car with just intake and exhaust mods. Did you see much change in the Lambda or did the stock ECU sort it out .... i think you need just a mapping session with no extra boost when you get hold of the stand alone ...
@@EvolveAutomotive people are needy and also there's no cheaper, similar quality alternative. So I get it, the demand is there. Just not normal. My 2 cents, no need to take me serious.
I just purchased a almost new 900kms 2019 wrx sti and I love it’s stock power but would like to add more power in the near future without losing its street drive ability. Do you have any recommendations or vids ? I have been offered a $450 tune but I think it is just a program installed into ecu which the seller claims 25kw to wheels extra
Why do the power and torque curves cross at different points for all three of the graph curves? and none of them seem to be 5252 rpm, which is where they should be...
intertested to see what the difference is when mapped, stock exhaust, stock airbox vs eventuri. 6whp unmapped is surely not worth the outlay for the intake, the looks alone maybe are tho lol
Again the peak numbers are not the main focus here. With the Eventuri intake alone, the car was generating 20ftlb (Nearly 30nm!) more at only 2,500rpm! This alone would make a huge difference to the way the car gains pace in real world driving.
I would not accredit that to purely the exhaust. Would say that is the variance in dyno loading up. Want to be looking about 2500-3000rpm onwards for an accurate reading that can be compared.
An ECU reflash would probably fill the balance to make it into a 300HP machine. Very much in line with the other turbo hot hatches power gains with the same type of upgrades.
56bhp transmission loss, makes me wonder if 4wd is worth it in a road going hatchback? With a manual gearbox and someone who is a smooth progressive driver, you just don't need 4wd. I know that's really missing the point of this car and what it was built for, but I'm glad the other small hatchbacks like the Fiesta ST etc aren't all 4wd. Ford has put 350bhp+ through the front wheels in the Focus RS cosworth version, and they didn't all end up upside down in a ditch. Then again I'd say drivers today need all the help they can get to stay on the road, and 4wd to me makes far more sense on a clever electronically controlled manual car that can send whatever power it deems best to each tyre. I'd like to see the GR in a group test with the best other in class hatchbacks, just for driver satisfaction rating over lap times.
@@stevenbusk539 for me AWD makes most sense on the road... You drive not that fast and often accelerate from low speeds + you drive also when it's wet! On a fast racetrack AWD often is useless and only weight.

more like a 3 part 18 min video each

God even without a tune them curves look nice and linear already.

I agree it doesn't makes justice to the sound higher rpms, it vibrates a lot. Sounds like those old whistles that were put in the tip.

Hello! You can find all the products Eventuri make on their website - www.eventuri.net - They do not make anything for Hiluxes.
