    OMG I can't believe Sagar you made a video on this...for the last 2/3 weeks, I've been struggling to punish this early Bishop move made by almost all of my opponents but couldn't remember all the lines. Also, most of the times they play 3...Bg4? or 4...Bg4? after Nf6 Nc3, which I've known to be a mistake but just couldn't punish it the proper way as sometimes I mix up the lines. #Suggestion: please make some other videos regarding these dubious online gambits like Englund and some garbage openings like Saragossa, Polish, Grob, Fried Fox(f3 Kf2), Bongcloud, etc and how to punish them. Most of the time I go for a premature attack and quickly lose my initiative and my opponent just equalizes very easily.

    Great video. I got the opportunity to play this line recently, and on the position of 3:45 (9. ...e6 10. Bb5+) instead of blocking with the knight my opponent played Ke7 (which the engine afterwards also called the best move). It caught me by surprise. He did resign after a couple of moves because his position was wacky, but I couldn't gain the material advantage I thought I would get after Bb5+. Any tips for that response? Or is it just: play decent chess from that point on?

    There is a game between Wojtaszek and Wang Yue which followed: 5. cxd5 cxd5 6. Qb3 Nc5!? 7. Qxb7 Bd7 8. Qb3 Rb8 9. Qd1 and White gained a pawn at loss of two tempi; meanwhile, Black gained developmemt, an open B file for the rook, and the next turn. This seems good for Black, but I think white had 8. Bf4 in the position, which doesn't allow ... Rb8. Even if 8. ...e5, 9. Nxe5 and White is a lot better it seems. If I have made a mistake in calculating 8. Bf4, please help me out, as I'm only 1250 and extremely interested in learning more about chess

      How does black get a knight on c5 at 5... Nc5? Either the opening position was not the same, or it was an illegal move?

      Because after Bb5+ you are getting positionally obliterated, its almost +2.5 for white

    @chessbase india bishop c8 is not bad at all acc to engine it gives only +0.7 to white instead the move b6 is very bad which just straight away gives +4 advantage and also explain the problem with bishop c8 if you think it is bad so i dont think its even a mistake with correct play

    • @ChessBaseIndiachannel
      @ChessBaseIndiachannel  3 года назад

      O.7 in an opening is a very tangible edge for White. At the same time when someone goes Bc8-f5, it is difficult to go back Bf5 to c8 immediately.
