    I looked up "capture towards center Ruy Lopez" because I wanted to know why the book move is to capture away from the center. Your explanation makes perfect sense! Thank you!

    But if we do that doesn't the opponent have Qh5 and then if we move our pawn to g6 white can simply take with the knight.

      After the knight takes the pawn the black queen can take the e4 pawn forking the knight and the king and you will be up material.

    Nf4, Qxe4 check, then Ne3. If bishop takes the knight then takes back with queen defending e4.

    According to theories the move A6 in Ruy Lopez is the Morphy's defense which was played by Morphy himself and still played in gm level after berlin

    After Nxe5, is Qg5 bad? it double attacks as well.

    • @ChessBaseIndiachannel
      @ChessBaseIndiachannel  3 года назад +10

      It's not bad, but not as good as Qd4. The reason why Qg5 is not the best is because after Qg5 Nf3 Qxg2 Rg1 the queen is kicked around.

    Respected Sagar Sir, Thank you so much for putting in so much effort for the chess improvement and promotion... Lots of Love❤️❤️❤️❤️ from everyone.
    I have one question... If we take towards the centre in exchange variation.. and after Nxe5.. can we play Qg5 attacking the knight on e5 and g2 pawn..?

    • @jatinahuja76
      @jatinahuja76 3 года назад

      But maybe it's better to win a centre pawn than a pawn on g file?

      Yes Nxe5 is possible, and then a line could go Nxe5 Qe7 d4 d6 Nxc6 Qxe4 Qe2 and White is fine here.
