I stayed in Ajijic last March and I noticed that Gringos were having a house built nearby and the woman met with the construction every morning. So it’s great you’re pointing that out for people. Just keep in mind Mexico IS North America, so always saying that it isn’t can be a bit offensive. What a lovely couple and what a great job they did on the place. It’s so gracious of them to share all this information.

Hi Rich, Shelby & Lee ,
Steve and Sharon here in Ajijic. It is true we watched all but this last segment in the U S. We just happened to meet Rich on the street. We were lucky enough to meet with Shelby and Lee to see their beautiful home in person. It is just lovely you have to see it to believe what a great job they did. We took Rich’s tour also and it is very helpful to get acquainted with the area. Just great people oh and a lot of fun!!!!!

Shelby keeps referring to the fact that things are different in North America than in Mexico. BTW, Shelby, Mexico is part of North America!!

Enjoyed the 5 part series. If we ever do consider buying real estate there, I won't feel QUITE as overwhelmed as I would have been. And Rich - we will be there in Ajijic from Jan. 16-27. We plan on looking you up, for either your Wednesday tour or a tour just for our needs.

I emailed Rich and Shelby about the apartment and realized after the fact. The date of the video was nearly a year ago. I am sure that by now it is rented so perhaps you know about another rantal that is a similar situation. I can be reached by email: sonny.number1guitar@gmail.com

Watch what you say NorthAmerican standards are the same standards that the Mexican workers that work in the USA or Canada are doing. On top of that Mexico is part of North America. Moral you find all kinds in Mexico some good some bad that also goes for the NOB clients some are good, some think they know construction even if they were an accountant for 30 years in Kelowna or Kansas. The bottom line is you need to know how to communicate no different than NOB.

Thanks for your comment Luis. I agree mate, it is a total mixed bag of people whereever you go. I worked on construction sites in England, no different there. Good communication is always key!! Thanks for watching👍🙂

Shelby constantly refers to North America vs Mexico in this video and previous videos. It's very distracting and very rude.
