home purchases doubled, for example a $220, 000 home before the pandemic in year 2020 went up to $410, 000. Most of the middle class can't afford to buy a home, so they rent. This forces the average citizen into a slave society, because without a home which is the primary source of survival for shelter, next is food, you're never guaranteed a place to live. Don't forget removing the headphone jack right after the launch Airpods to boost sales, proprietary lightning cables for the last 10 years even though they're 10x slower than USB C was, launching a repair program for users but then charging 2/3 the price of a new iPhone for the parts, disabling key features like Face ID if you change unrelated parts like the battery in a repair center other than Apples's, etc.
Many neighborhoods only have one cable running underground, and that cable is owned by the company that placed it. A municipality may have several cable companies for the area, but you can't choose the one you want. It's chosen for you by the house/neighborhood you move into. Now, it's becoming less and less of an issue for many due to all the streaming, fiber, and satellite options available.

@stephensmith3928 Android is an operating system... Multiple manufacturers make phones and tablets running the operating system. Google, Android's creator, hasn't done anything to hinder its software from communicating with competitors' software. home purchases doubled, for example a $220, 000 home before the pandemic in year 2020 went up to $410, 000. Most of the price increase is contributed by Monopoly Landgrabbers Investment companies, which now own 80% of the housing market, which is why you find most of the housing in the U.S. is Apartment Rental market instead of home ownership. Most of the middle class can't afford to buy a home, so they rent. This forces the average citizen into a slave society, because without a home which is the primary source of survival for shelter, next is food, you're never guaranteed a place to live. Apartments are owned by someone else. The pandemic was just a lame excuse to price gouge on the consumer market, along with food.
