In this video, my brother and I react to Blackpink's 'How You Like That', Lisa's 'Money', XG's 'Shooting Star', & Aespa's 'Drama'. My brother has never heard K-pop, so I have no idea if he'll have any interest in it, but I'm hoping to get him to love it as much as I do. In this K-pop reaction, we both give our overall thoughts. I apologize for any stuttering frames in this video, I had the wrong memory card in my camera while filming this so I'm glad I didn't lose the recording.

He likes easy, safe, generic kind of music. Lots of ppl actually thrown off by how experimental and weird aespa's music, but also lots of ppl love weird music. Nothing wrong with liking mainstream easy listening music, we have different ears.

i’m pretty sure the reason why xg’s set was so bright and colorful because when (i’m sorry i’m not a stan) the girl licks her finger and puts a square on her forehead, that’s a known way to take acid sheets. it makes the effects more intense/ goes through system faster. so they were essentially tripping 😭😭

Damn, if your brother is a fan of rap you definitely should show him XG’s Tape series (#1, #2, #3A, #3B) and the Show You Can lyric video.
If I remember correctly, he said he likes 80s Rock, so I think Dreamcatcher might be a good option since they have more of a rock feel, rap and great lyrics.
A few I would recommend are Deja Vu (follows Persephone storyline in the greek mythology), BEcause is based off a horror movie, there's Vision (this MV/Album is part of a Trilogy that talks about climate change and other issues) and many more. 🙃
A few I like are: Odd Eye, Scream, Trap, Break the Wall and Boca!

All in all they made very questionable choices when posting that video, so they're being more careful now and it's appreciated, he can still dislike it ofc, that's just how people work.

I agree with your brother on most opinions haha! I've been a fan of kpop for a long time but most of the songs that have been coming out of kpop in the last few years i cannot listen to. They just... don't sound melodic at all. Or they don't have that punch factor when they are melodic. I'm not saying they are bad, but to me they are either hard to listen to or boring, so I totally relate.

XG is absolutely the DREAM TEAM. XG is Xpop and these Japanese members sing in ENGLISH. The four rap members..rap in KOREAN, JAPANESE and ENGLISH. Their 2024’ World Tour is upcoming. The Alphaz from other COUNTRIES love them and definitely demonstrate it. They sadly….have experienced a lot of TOXIC Kpop fans who tend to leave XENOPHOBIC comments and it shocked and made me sad…because XG has top level songs, choreographies and MV’s. Winter has no solo songs yet that are released, but she has a few collabs already~!! The kpop industry loves her, but she also has an unreleased solo song called “Lips” that she performed for her solo stage during their tour. Also during the tour all the girls had solo stages performing their own original songs, so I guess those are solos. Winter also has a few osts that are worth checking out if your brother wants to hear her voice more~
