Nice! I live right down the street from Paul Simon in a very small town. We see him and Edie Brickell out and about often. Thanks for the tutorial Lauren!
Just wanted to say I’ve tried a few times to play guitar over the years and just watching a FEW of your videos I’m doing better than I ever have before. Thanks for teaching the easy chords!! I totally agree with your approach cause I finally feel like I can maybe do this. Thank you!
I just tried this with a 4th finger G. Works very fast. Takes a bit practice with weak finger G. It’s something I’m working in my guitar course. So been looking for good song with c to g. This great
Thanks for the great tutorials.... At 70 it's not easy starting again. What strings would you recomend for a beginner....I find my strings are very hard....I believe mine are 11???? Thanks
Hi Lauren, I’m new to your channel and I love it! You are such a great teacher!! Might I request that you show us how to play some songs by Bread? …”Make it with You”, “If”, “Everything I Own”, “Guitar Man” or any of their songs. Thank you!!
I've picked up the guitar again after 30 years, it's all coming back to me slowly! My chord changes are getting faster and my strumming is ok, but putting them together is a bit of a problem. Thinking of both at the same time is frustrating, I seem get halfway through a song then loose it! Any tips or is it just a case of practice, practice, practice?

I use +11s but you may want to try 10s until you build up more finger strength.
Great job
Thank you!

Where did you get your strap from Lauren?

I like the tone of your guitar. Whenever i buy accoustic guitar the tone isnt that inspiring to practice.
I use Phosphor Bronze strings which have a warmer sound.
