I loved seeing Alice enjoying parkrun (I was lazy and didn’t get to mine this morning, now I wish I had - I did go and do my speed session at the track rather than in/around a parkrun )! Great to see info on all your runs in the week, fantastic commitment. I’m looking forward to my run tomorrow now.
Some really great training in there! It's these weeks where you earn the potential to go fast on race day 💪🏻 Alice looked like she had a lot of fun doing her first Parkrun !🏃🏼♀️🎉🏅☺️
Thanks and congratulation for the little athlete! Well, I guess it is mostly colder here in Canada ;-) We certainly do have significantly more snow, which is a tell. The positive: I have time on my feet cross-country skiing for much longer than I run and with no impact on my legs (despite significantly bigger ascent/descent numbers)
Well done Kelly! I'd recommend Torq gels. I found SIS make me feel nauseous too but Torq are a bit thicker and seem to settle better 🤷🏼♀️ It is a lottery at times with gels though!
Only week 4 and you are already smashing it. Amazing discipline Kelly. Huge respect. I don’t know how you juggle everything. I highly recommend Maurten gels. I’ve not hit the wall in a marathon since using them. One every 4 miles from mile 4 👌👌 Work a treat!
Thank you ❤️ I really need to try them again. Bad experience trying them, but in all fairness it was one time and other things going on. I’ve actually gone with Torq (finally ordered some) as they used to work well for me in the past. Give them another go x
"Hump ďay" made me laugh. Haven't heard that expression for a while Kelly. Where is that body of water you ran round I the first few minutes of this vlog?
Nice, 54 miles! Big week, great job!
Good week of training Kelly! And watching your video has just reminded me to order my long run carb drink, so thank you 😊

Always going strong and not giving up... Such an inspiration 💪🏽🤗

I am impressed by your discipline, and of course it makes much more sense to warm down than cooling down when it is so cold!!!
