Hey Julia this video is amazing, thank you so much. Best TikTok ads tutorial I've seen. Quick question about scaling- I heard of the Surfing strategy before but the videos I watched were very complicated. Your explanation is on another level, if you could break down this strategy that would be awesome. Thank you so much! Have a good one
Hey, thank you so much for your lovely feedback! Surf scaling is a dynamic budget allocation strategy. This means that advertisers increase or decrease their ad budgets throughout the day and then reset to their original budget just before midnight. A very effective strategy when surf scaling is to double your budget every 3 conversions. So, for example, if you had set your daily budget to $100, every time you get 3 sales, you double it, changing it to $200, then 3 more sales to $400, and so on. This is a very effective strategy for scaling your ads and skyrocketing your sales. Keep in mind that if you surf scaled and your ad budget is at $500, it doesn't necessarily mean that TikTok will spend the entire $500. Since there may not be enough time in the day to spend it all, TikTok typically only spends about half of the budget. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out :)
Hey, thank you! You will find the info you're looking for in this page: ads.tiktok.com/help/article/faqs-for-new-e-commerce-web-conversion-advertisers If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out :)
Hey there! The shortest duration you should let an ad run on TikTok before considering changing tactics is typically around 3-5 days. This allows enough time for the ad to gather sufficient data for analysis and for the TikTok AI algorithm to optimize its performance. It's essential to monitor key metrics like CTR (click-through rates), CPM (cost per thousand impressions) and conversions during this period to make informed decisions about adjusting your ad strategy. If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)
That sounds like a plan! Implement those tips and let the orders roll in! Wishing you lots of success with your store! You're welcome, happy to help anytime :)
Hey there! In the ad level, where you need to enter your ad details, you will find the 'Call to action' section. There, you need to click on 'Customize call to action text' and write the text that you would like to appear in your ad. I show where this section is at 9:54 in the video. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask :)
Hey, I'm glad it's being helpful! Payment failures are usually caused by entering incorrect information, a poor network connection, or issues with bank authorization. Your payment can fail when your bank or payment provider experiences an issue when adding a payment source of processing your payment. To avoid your payment getting declined, confirm your debit or credit card is valid and has not expired and verify your account has sufficient funds or available credit to cover the payment. Also, check your internet connection and clear your browser cookies and cache. If it still doesn't work, try using your browser's incognito mode to complete the payment. I also recommend disabling any VPN. Additionally, you can clear the TikTok Ads Manager cache by logging into your Ads Manager account and adding &reset_cache= to the end of the URL. You can also try using a different internet browser. Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)
Hey, you're welcome! I'm glad you found the explanation helpful! TikTok has restrictions on the countries/regions you can target based on the country/region you used to register your TikTok for Business account. Here's the article on where you can target depending on your location: ads.tiktok.com/help/article/placements-available-locations?lang=ru If you need to target the US, there are workarounds, such as getting a TikTok agency ad account that can target any country, though these can be difficult to obtain. Another option is to buy a virtual US address and virtual US number to create a local ads account. Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to me :)
Hey there! It's generally recommended to allow the campaign to run for at least 3-5 days before moving on to full payment optimization. This duration allows the TikTok algorithm to collect sufficient data and optimize the ad delivery. You will find more info about this on this page: ads.tiktok.com/help/article/faqs-for-new-e-commerce-web-conversion-advertisers If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out :)
Great video! So, how do you track TikTok conversions/purchases on Shopify store? I double checked the analytics and marketing channels I can see Meta ads as I configured utm parameters for those campaigns so it shows the conversions from META. I did the same with TikTok, TikTok now let’s you built utm parameters in extension to the url. I can see the traffic and engagement rate on Google Analytics from TikTok but not on Shopify. There is not error in the setup, I checked everything using TikTok pixel extension, events are firing correctly. On TikTok’s advertising dashboard I can see one conversion made today but it is not reflecting on Shopify analytics. What should I do about that?
Hey, thank you! Is the sale appearing in your orders, but you're unable to track where the conversion is coming from? Despite your setup, it seems Shopify analytics isn't reflecting the TikTok conversions. I'd recommend reaching out to Shopify support with your specific details, as they will be able to look deeper into the issue and better help you with this. Here's a link to start the support live chat: help.shopify.com/en/support/confirm-account-details?returnTo=/en/support/login Once you open the link, you will see a big chat on the right side of the screen. Type in ''I would like to speak with a customer support agent live'' . They will connect you with an agent! Alternatively you can also email Shopify directly.
@@Shopify-Success Yes, that is what's happening. Everything is setup but the source isn't showing up. Thank you so much for the detailed response. I will get in touch with the Shopify customer representative via chat. Your videos are really helpful, keep it up! Looking forward to see more of these :)
I HAVE A QUESTION, PLEASE ANSWER I did the same things you mentioned, but I can't find any pixels when selecting them in the Optimization Location for the Website. When I checked in the events tab, the pixels were already created. How can I sort this out?
Hey! It sounds like there might be an issue with the Pixel configuration. Here's a few steps you can take to resolve it: 1. Make sure your Pixel is properly set up and installed on your website. You can use TikTok's Pixel Helper to verify if the Pixel is firing correctly. 2. Ensure that the TikTok account you're using has the right permissions for the ad account that owns the pixel. If you're not seeing the pixel, it could be due to a permission issue. 3. Sometimes it take s little while for TikTok to sync and recognize the Pixel after it's set up. Wait for a few hours and then check again. If the problem persists, I recommend you reach out TikTok customer support, they can better help you with this.
Hey there! In my opinion, TikTok ads is more suitable for beginners, as they are easier to set up. TikTok ads are great for creative, engaging content and can help you reach a highly active user base. Since the the platform is still relatively new for advertising, there's a lot of potential for growth. On the other hand, Facebook ads has a more mature and extensive advertising platform with robust targeting options. I would also take in consideration your target audience. If they are younger, TikTok might be a better option. Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)
Hi Julia, first of all great video. I have just a question, so I went with the approach of CBO and started by optimizing add-to-cart events. Now I have gathered some add-to-cart events and wanted to ask how you would approach to switching to complete payment. Inside a CBO I can not create ad groups with different optimization event e.g. complete payment. Should I just copy the campaign and set the new campaign optimization event to complete payment and will the data gathered by the add-to-cart campaign be retained in the new copied complete payment campaign? Thanks in advance!
Hey, you're welcome! When running a CBO campaign optimized for add-to-cart events, the data gathered is stored at your account level. This means you can create a new CBO campaign optimized for complete payments using the data accumulated in your account. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask :)
Hey! For language changing on your store, I recommend using an app. 1. From the Shopify admin, click on Apps in the side menu. 2. Search ''language'' in the app store 3. Choose an app to install! For currency conversion, there are a few apps available on Shopify's app store. GeoLocation+Currency Converter is the most economic option I have come across. Here's a link: apps.shopify.com/appjetty-geo-location?search_id=54c5272b-5e6f-4b9e-84e1-9f69ead52050&surface_detail=geolocation&surface_inter_position=1&surface_intra_position=10&surface_type=search Here's how to view more options in the app store: 1. From your Shopify dashboard, go to Apps down on the bottom left. 2.Type in ''Currency Converter'' in the search bar You will run into a few more good options here. I recommend viewing the demos to see what you prefer. Shopify also has a free app named Geolocation which will convert the location automatically.
so the ads that are inside the ad group are all paid by whatever budget you put and tiktok automatically allocates the money to which ever ad is getting more attention? so you dont have to pay for each ad individually right?
Yes, that's correct! When you set a budget for an ad group on TikTok, the platform automatically distributes that budget across all the ads in the group. TikTok will allocate more budget to the ads that are performing better, so you don’t need to pay for each ad individually. The budget is managed collectively for all ads in the group.
Hi julia, thanks for the great video's! They're really helping me. But i have a question. I'm running some tiktok ads now but it's not working perfect. In tiktok ads manager i see about 100 clicks to the destination but on my shopify i see much less webshop sessions. Do you know how this is possible?
Hey, thank you so much! I’m so glad to hear that. Here’s what I think you might be experiencing: It’s possible that the discrepancy between TikTok analytics and Shopify analytics is due to people bouncing off after clicking on the ad but before completing an action that Shopify tracks (like actually reaching a product page). Here’s how it might happen: 1. Curiosity Clicks: Users might click on the ad out of curiosity but then quickly lose interest before even loading, leading them to leave the site before Shopify can register the visit properly. It’s normal for such visits to happen at first, especially as TikTok’s AI is still in a so called “learning phase”, as it’s looking for the right people to target. 2. Slow Loading Times: If the Shopify store takes too long to load, users might abandon the page before it fully loads and is tracked by Shopify. You can check how fast your store is loading on Shopify > Online Store > Page loading speed metrics right on top. Should be under 3 seconds ideally. If you have too many apps installed, that can slow down your store speed. There are many factors that go into this, so it is an issue, I highly recommend looking deeper into it! 3. Mismatched Expectations: The ad might create certain expectations that aren’t met when users land on the site, causing them to leave very quickly. 4. Tracking Issues: There could also be discrepancies in how TikTok and Shopify track clicks and visits. For example, TikTok might count every click, while Shopify might only count visits where the user lands on the site beyond the initial click.
Hey! Nowadays AI voiceovers are becoming very effective. I recommend you test PlayHT, is perfect for voiceovers. Here's a link to it: www.play.ht/?via=shopifysuccess Engagement will depend more on the text than the specific AI tool you decide to use. It’s so annoying when I click on an ad and it lands on the homepage instead of the product I wanted. I’ll definitely not make that mistake with my store. Thank you so much for pointing it out 💗
Hey, you're welcome! Yes, it's very important to guide the customer's through the funnel as smooth as possible. You don't want them to do extra clicks and get distracted with too many options. If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :) Much love!
Hey! so the ads within the 'ad group' for example running 4 like your example, would they all come out of the £20 per day budget you set initially for the Campaign or would they all have a budget each of £20 daily per ad so for example the total to run these 4 ads for a week would be 7 x 20 = £140 time this by 4 (because of 4 ads running?)
Hey! In the scenario you described, the £20 per day budget is set for the entire campaign, not per ad. This means that the total budget for running all ads within that campaign is £20 per day, and the budget is distributed among the ads based on the campaign’s settings and performance. So, if you’re running 4 ads within a single campaign with a £20 daily budget, the total daily spend across all ads will be £20. This budget is shared among the ads, and the exact amount each ad receives can vary based on performance and settings. For a week, you’d spend £140 total for the entire campaign, regardless of how many ads you’re running within it. The total budget calculation would be £20 daily budget x 7 days = £140. Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :) Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for explaining! I understand now! My campaign has been running 3 days now. With only 1 ad in it, shall I start to add a couple for ads to test now?
You're welcome! With a low budget, it's recommended to run a maximum of 2-3 ads so they have enough budget for testing. After a few days, you can remove the underperforming ones. At this stage, is crucial for the TikTok Pixel to gather as much data as possible. The more data it collects, the better it can optimize your campaigns by learning which audiences are most likely to engage with your ads and ultimately convert. This data-driven approach will improve the effectiveness of your ads over time, allowing you to make more informed decisions and maximize the return of investment on your ads.
@@Shopify-Success thank you! I’m just in the process of adding another video ad to the campaign, but struggling to add music. I see lots of ads with trending music but I can’t see to work out how to find other music to add other than the basic soundtracks it’s offering? Can you help there? Thanks so much for your replies! :)
Hi thanks for the content. Is this tutorial enough for me to run a TikTok ad and get my first income or should I spend money to buy a paid course to see the better result?
Hey, you're welcome! This tutorial should provide you with the basics to get started with running TikTok ads and potentially start selling. However, If you want to deepen your understanding and learn more advanced strategies, investing in a paid course could be beneficial. It really depends on how confident you feel, you can always opt for a course if you need more detailed guidance.
@@Shopify-Success sorry although you went over my problem, I still haven’t been able to get my head around it. Would you mind telling me that is this tutorial complete and perfect enough to get my first $1k income using TikTok ads?
Yes, with this tutorial, you can definitely earn your first $1k and more. While this tutorial provides a solid foundation for getting started with TikTok ads, it's important to remember that results will depend on several factors beyond the ads themselves. You need to consider your products, how trustworthy and well-designed your store is, how attractive your offers are, your target audience, and the quality of your ads. With ads, you're driving traffic to your online store, but to make a significant amount of money, it's crucial to focus on converting that traffic into sales.
Hey, that's unusual. You can try using a different browser and/or logging in and out of your TikTok ads account. If this doesn't resolve the issue, I recommend contacting TikTok customer support, they can better help you with this!
Hey there! No, setting a budget of 20€ daily for your TikTok ad campaign means that TikTok will aim to spend around 20€ per day on your ads. However, your actual daily spending may vary depending on factors such as ad performance, bidding strategy, and audience targeting. TikTok will try to optimize your ad spending to achieve the best results within your specified budget. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask :)
Hey there! Yes, I usually create the scripts for the ads myself. First of all, It's very important to know your target audience. What's their demographic? What are their interests? This way you can write an ad that will resonate with them. When writing your ad, you can consider starting with a hook for your ad to get people curious. This could be a question or attention-grabbing statement like '"imagine never having to [tedious task] again". Also it's important to clearly highlight the benefits or solutions your product or service offers. Focus on how it can improve their lives. Keeping the ad script concise and straight to the point is key, using persuasive and storytelling language to evoke emotions and encourage them take action! This brings me to the last point: include a clear call to action (CTA) such as "Shop now"' or "Get started now and unlock exclusive benefits" Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out :)
Hey there! Could you provide more details about why TikTok for business isn't working? Thanks for the suggestion about the Google Ads video; I'll definitely keep it in mind for future content!
Glad it started running! If your CTR is above 2%, it is considered healthy. With 1,000 impressions, there's not enough data to draw conclusions yet. However, if you're not getting any sales after 10,000 impressions, you should consider optimizing your landing page. If you have a low CTR, it might be a good idea to change your ad and experiment with different ad creatives.
Hey there! Thanks for the suggestion. Uppromote seems like a great affiliate marketing app. I'll definitely keep it in consideration for future videos!
Hey there! When testing Instagram ads and using the pixel to gather data, it's recommended to optimize for "Add to Cart" in the beginning rather than directly for "Complete Payments/Purchase." The Instagram pixel requires a significant amount of data to optimize effectively, and "Add to Cart" events are more frequent than "Purchase" events, especially in the early stages of a campaign. This helps the pixel gather data faster and learn which users are more likely to convert. "Add to Cart" is a lower funnel event, indicating strong purchase intent. By optimizing for this action first, you can create a more defined audience of potential buyers, which can later be optimized for "Purchases." Once your pixel has gathered sufficient data and has a better understanding of your target audience, you can then switch your optimization goal to "Complete Payments/Purchase" to focus directly on driving sales. Hope this clarifies things! If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)
Hello, I have created the pixel as you instructed, but when I run ads and connect the pixel, I'm unable to select 'Complete Payment in the optimised event as the option is grayed out only the add to cart option and view page option are available to select Please help me. Whats is the reason for that?
Hey there! The "Complete Payment" option might be unavailable because there isn't enough data collected for that event yet. TikTok requires a certain amount of activity for an event before it can be used for optimization. Keep running your ads optimized for "Add to Cart" to build data, and once enough is gathered, the option should become available.
Hey there! TikTok has restrictions on the countries/regions you can target based on the country/region you used to register your TikTok for Business account. If you created a German TikTok for Business account, you can target: Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Kuwait, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom.
Hey there! There may be different requirements for setting up TikTok ads depending on your location. You might need to reach out to TikTok customer support to ask about the specific licensing requirements. They should be able to provide you with guidance on what steps to take next.
@@Shopify-Success Thankyou so much for the reply dear. I just started Shopify and now improving by watching your videos ,ya sure I must ask question where I'm not clear or I stuck 💫💖💝💞
Hi Julia, I just setup a titktok Ad based on this video and I have a question..Can I set up another ad inside the same campaign with same UGC video with a different thumbnail if I am doing interest based targeting in this Adset No.2 if my Adset No.1 was broad targeting only? Or does it have to be a completely new UGC video? I was thinking about uploading the same UGC video across different ad sets in the same campaign with basically just changing the thumbnail with a different angle. Curious to know your thoughts on this, thanks in advance!
Hey there! Yes, you can definitely set up another ad inside the same campaign using the same UGC video with a different thumbnail, even if you are targeting different interests. It's not necessary to use a completely new UGC video. Changing the thumbnail with a different angle is a good strategy to test variations and see which one performs better. Keep in mind that when testing different criteria, it is important that you only change 1 factor and leave everything else the same, this way you know exactly what caused the change. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out :)
@@Shopify-Success thanks Julia! I ran the 2 ads last night with same UGC video and different thumbnails and the ad is still running. I am seeing more impressions and clicks on my targeted interested ad set than my broad Ad set and the CPM on the broad ad set is also high. So should I turn this broad ad set off and created another ad set with a different interest instead? I got 1 add to cart with targeted interest and zero with broad Adset. My market is U.S.A.
If you're creating a new campaign, it's important to let the AI collect data, so allow the ads to run for a few days to gather enough data for analysis. It seems that, for now, your targeted interest ad set is performing better. You could consider reallocating the budget from the broad ad set to the targeted interest ad set. You could also create another ad set with a different interest to further refine your targeting and potentially improve performance. If the broad ad set continues to underperform, you might want to consider turning it off and focusing your resources on the ad sets that are generating better results.
When I try to get through the campaign creation the website returns "budget can't be none" and won't let me move forward without turning on the option for a campaign budget
Hey there! You should be able to turn off the 'campaign budget optimization' switch. If it's on, you'll have to enter a budget there. If the issue persists, I recommend contacting TikTok customer support so they can better help you with this.
Hi, what to do when ads are not working? It is showing Not delivering and payment unsuccessful or insufficient balance. I don't understand, how to count how much money i need to put in the balance so the ads will be active. I have set 8 days period to run on a dayli budget 30EUR and i have put the amount 8x30=240 but is still not changing. Help, please.
Hey there! Try adding a debit/credit card and see if it solves it. You can also try to pay TikTok through PayPal. If the issue persists, I recommend you reach out TikTok customer support, they can better help you with this.
Hey there! Since TikTok is banned in India, running ads directly on TikTok from within the country isn't possible. However, there are some workaround you might consider: 1. Partner with influencers from countries where TikTok is not banned so they can promote your products to their audience 2. Consider utilize similar social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram or RUclips Shorts, which are popular in India and can give you a wide reach If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)
Hey there! If your ads are not delivered at the scheduled time, please check the following: 1. Your account is still under review 2. You account's balance cannot cover your costs 3. The campaign's lifetime budget has been reached 4. The ads will be delivered according to the time zone you set. Please double-check your time zone setting and make sure you've set the right time to start delivery. It may also be that your ads are still pending approval by TikTok. Hope this solves it! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know :)
Hey there! Unfortunately, ads are paid on TikTok. If you're looking for free ways to bring visitors into your store, you could try social media content marketing. This involves creating content about your products on social media and actively engaging with users. For instance, on TikTok, well-made videos have the potential to go viral, which means you could bring organic views into your website without any costs. Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :) Thanks for watching!
Hi, I'm planning to open a shopify store and I'll doing dropshipping International, can you insight me how much will be cost for starting and newbie to this business? Also what the requirements or document to be need to open an account and start the business? I'm currently residing in Canada, Thank you
Hey there! Technically just $1, you can get Shopify for $1 for the first month. After that, the subscription will depend on the plan you choose, averaging from $5 to $25. As you're going to be dropshipping, you also won't need to invest any money in inventory, so you would only need a small amount of money in your bank account, like for example, $30 to pay for the supply of the product when an order comes in. Creating a Shopify store is a straightforward process, and you don't need many documents to get started. For tax considerations, just be aware that different locations have distinct regulations; therefore, it's essential to verify the specific requirements in your country or state. In many countries, registering only becomes necessary only when there is a significant sales volume. Here's a video on how to set up a one-product Shopify store with dropshipping: ruclips.net/video/zEWicVcBbeM/видео.html To get started, you can signup for $1 for the first month, and start building your store! @@Shopify-Success Ohh, Thanks for knowing that😊 how about a mode of payment, can I use my personal bank / PayPal account? Also, It's essential to get the LLC even though I'm still starting? One more thing, can I use some marketplace like Amazon, eBay, Walmart, or another store to be my suppliers? I'm sorry, I have a lot of questions, I'm literally a newbie 🤭 Thank you again...
You're welcome! Yes, you can use your personal bank or PayPal account if you prefer. Most debit/credit card will do. You can sign up for Shopify without an LLC, that's totally fine. Whether or not you'll need to register for an LLC to when your shop is ready to start selling depends on your location. In most countries, you don't need to register before starting, and you can reach a certain number in sales before that is mandatory. I recommend checking what the rules are in your location, as this will vary from country to country and sometimes even state to state! It's not possible to have marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, etc., as suppliers, as they are not dropshipping suppliers. If you're looking for a good dropshipping supplier, I'd strongly recommend you check out Zendrop. Their platform is easy to use and they have amazing products you could add to your store. If there is a specific product you want to sell that isn't on their platform, you can also submit a request and their team in China will source it for you within 24h. They also have automatic fulfillment, which means a completely automated process once sales are coming into Shopify. This can save you a lot of time later on. Ultimately, Zendrop is a supplier that is able to scale with you smoothly. Once you're seeing a good number of sales, they will also assign you a dedicated agent who will communicate with your product manufacturers and quote better deals for you, so you can increase your profit margins and continue scaling. Zendrop also offers relatively fast shipping times in comparison to other suppliers, and no-questions-asked refunds. Their platform is also very user-friendly and nice to navigate. I have an exclusive deal you can use to get $200 of free order credits! Here's a link to it: zendrop.sjv.io/shopify-success

I just tried to do the tutorial but the thing is that I wasn't able to target US or UK or countries in EU since Tiktok doesn't allow you to choose them so other countries that you are allowed to target them can't check out bacause they don't have any international bank account or any possible method so they can check out!
Hey there! TikTok has restrictions on the countries/regions you can target based on the country/region you used to register your TikTok for Business account. Here's the article with the list of countries that you can target depending on your location: ads.tiktok.com/help/article/placements-available-locations?lang=ru If you need to target the US, there are workarounds, such as getting a TikTok agency ad account that can target any country, though these can be difficult to obtain. Another option is to buy a virtual US address and virtual US number to create a local ads account. Most countries have access to a variety of payment gateways and digital banking solutions for checking out and paying for products. You can check them out here: www.shopify.com/payment-gateways Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to me :)
@@Shopify-Success thanks for the useful information but the thing is that although I’ve got a massive traffic from India on my Instagram page who are coming from my organic reels, they don’t know what Stripe mean or even what is it😢 and they can’t check out. I even ask them about Stripe or PayPal but they say they don’t have it. FYI In the link you have shared, it says Indians can pay using Stripe, but actually they can’t
Your customers don’t need to be aware of which payment gateway is being used, such as Stripe or others. The payment gateway operates behind the scenes to enable the acceptance of various payment methods like credit or debit cards. All your customers care about is a seamless, secure checkout experience where they can easily pay with their preferred method. You need to make sure the payment gateway you choose accepts debit/credits cards, Visa, Mastercard.
@@Shopify-Success my payment gateway is Stripe and it's the preferred payment method for Indians to order via it. They can't check out since after all the traffic that I have had from India I've realized that they can't checkout. I'm even ready to Be charged by you just to see what's the problem. 3 of my posts have over 10m views and almost 80 percent of my traffic is from India but no customer from India so far.
Inside Shopify, go to 'Orders' > 'Abandoned Checkout' to check if people are actually trying to check out. If they are, there might be a technical issue with your setup. You could also research and try and test a different payment gateway that works well for Indian customers.
One major question I have is, would I require a credit card or debit to purchase and ship the product to the customer or is it automatic? Does the money required to purchase and ship the product to the customer automatically taken out of the payment the customer made on your shopify store?
Hey there! Yes, you would need a debit or credit card to pay your supplier so they can fulfill the order and ship it to your customer. Usually, with most suppliers, this process needs to be done manually, and you would need to pay for each order that comes in. If you'd like this process to be automatic, I'd recommend checking out Zendrop. Their platform is easy to use, and they have amazing products you could add to your store. If there's a specific product you want to sell that isn't on their platform, you can also submit a request, and their team in China will source it for you within 24 hours. I have an exclusive deal you can use to get $200 of free order credits! Here's a link to it: zendrop.sjv.io/shopify-success Regarding your second question, the money to purchase the product from your supplier will not be taken from the customer's payment; there will be two separate transactions. This is how it works: Once a customer places an order on your Shopify store, you will receive the full retail price from the customer via whatever payment gateway you set up inside Shopify. So from the price you set in your store, you will receive everything. Then, in your supplier's platform, you will be charged separately only for the product supply and shipping. The profit will be left in your bank account once both transactions are completed. Hope this clarifies things! If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)

Seems like you're getting some traffic but not converting. To optimize your store for conversions, first, focus on the user experience. Start by having a clean and intuitive website design that loads quickly across all devices. Also, it's crucial that you have tempting offers, try bundle offers and discounts with compare-at prices. Customers need to have the feeling they are getting a lot of value out of the purchase. It's also important that you streamline the checkout process by minimizing steps and offering your customers to checkout as a guest. You also need to make sure to use high-quality product images and compelling product descriptions to showcase your offerings effectively. Finally, implement trust signals such as customer reviews, trust badges, and secure payment options to instill confidence in potential buyers. Hope these tips help! If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)

Дуже вам дякую ,за цей урок,інформативно,все прозоро без води.🎉
Usually, what’s the shortest duration I should let an ad run for? Before I change tactics?

Hey, how do you change the ad button text? some say 'Shop Now' and sometimes I also see 'Learn More'
Hey there! In the ad level, where you need to enter your ad details, you will find the 'Call to action' section. There, you need to click on 'Customize call to action text' and write the text that you would like to appear in your ad. I show where this section is at 9:54 in the video.

Hi Julia, Your video helped me lot. i followed every steps but i can't process my payment and getting declined everytime. waiting for your reply
If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)

how long should i wait before moving on to full payment optimization?
Hey there! It's generally recommended to allow the campaign to run for at least 3-5 days before moving on to full payment optimization. This duration allows the TikTok algorithm to collect sufficient data and optimize the ad delivery.

Here's a link to start the support live chat:

Once you open the link, you will see a big chat on the right side of the screen. Type in ''I would like to speak with a customer support agent live'' . They will connect you with an agent! Alternatively you can also email Shopify directly.
@@Shopify-Success Yes, that is what's happening. Everything is setup but the source isn't showing up. Thank you so much for the detailed response. I HAVE A QUESTION, PLEASE ANSWER
I did the same things you mentioned, but I can't find any pixels when selecting them in the Optimization Location for the Website. When I checked in the events tab, the pixels were already created. How can I sort this out?
Hey! It sounds like there might be an issue with the Pixel configuration. Here's a few steps you can take to resolve it:
@@Shopify-Success thank you for the detailed answer. Solved!
I have a question, which one is better for a beginner, TikTok ad or Facebook ad?
@@Shopify-Success here in Iran getting this amount of knowledge cost so much money thanks for sharing useful info
Hi Julia,
first of all great video.
If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask :)

please julia, can you do a video on langauge changing on different country and checkout on different currecncy base on country 🙏🙏
Hey! For language changing on your store, I recommend using an app.
1. From the Shopify admin, click on Apps in the side menu.
2. Search ''language'' in the app store
3. Choose an app to install!
For currency conversion, there are a few apps available on Shopify's app store. GeoLocation+Currency Converter is the most economic option I have come across. Here's a link: apps.shopify.com/appjetty-geo-location?search_id=54c5272b-5e6f-4b9e-84e1-9f69ead52050&surface_detail=geolocation&surface_inter_position=1&surface_intra_position=10&surface_type=search
Here's how to view more options in the app store:
1. From your Shopify dashboard, go to Apps down on the bottom left.
2.Type in ''Currency Converter'' in the search bar
You will run into a few more good options here. I recommend viewing the demos to see what you prefer. Shopify also has a free app named Geolocation which will convert the location automatically.
thanks so much sister

so the ads that are inside the ad group are all paid by whatever budget you put and tiktok automatically allocates the money to which ever ad is getting more attention? so you dont have to pay for each ad individually right?
Here’s what I think you might be experiencing:
It’s possible that the discrepancy between TikTok analytics and Shopify analytics is due to people bouncing off after clicking on the ad but before completing an action that Shopify tracks (like actually reaching a product page). Here’s how it might happen:
@@Shopify-Success thankyou very much for the quick response! I'll look into it. Keep on going🤩
I’ve used AI tools for voiceovers too…but I wanted to know your opinion, do you think hiring someone is better? What gets more engagement?
Hey! Nowadays AI voiceovers are becoming very effective. I recommend you test PlayHT, is perfect for voiceovers. Here's a link to it: www.play.ht/?via=shopifysuccess
Engagement will depend more on the text than the specific AI tool you decide to use.

Hi, I have a question about there where it says 20€ daily,am I going to be charged 20€ every day?
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask :)
do u usually create scripts for your ads yourself? Got any tips?
This brings me to the last point: include a clear call to action (CTA) such as "Shop now"' or "Get started now and unlock exclusive benefits"
Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out :)

Hey! It might take a little while to start running. Have you seen any impressions yet?
@@Shopify-Success hey thanks. It started. 1380 impressions, 6 clicks and 0 sales for 20 usd 🥲 it was a Halloween themed bag
Glad it started running! If your CTR is above 2%, it is considered healthy. With 1,000 impressions, there's not enough data to draw conclusions yet. However, if you're not getting any sales after 10,000 impressions, you should consider optimizing your landing page. If you have a low CTR, it might be a good idea to change your ad and experiment with different ad creatives.
would you do a tutorial for uppromote app in shopify?
Hey there! Thanks for the suggestion. Uppromote seems like a great affiliate marketing app. I'll definitely keep it in consideration for future videos!
Why add to cart when we want sales? Why not run complete payments/purchase?
Hey there! When testing Instagram ads and using the pixel to gather data, it's recommended to optimize for "Add to Cart" in the beginning rather than directly for "Complete Payments/Purchase."
The Instagram pixel requires a significant amount of data to optimize effectively, and "Add to Cart" events are more frequent than "Purchase" events, especially in the early stages of a campaign. This helps the pixel gather data faster and learn which users are more likely to convert.
"Add to Cart" is a lower funnel event, indicating strong purchase intent. By optimizing for this action first, you can create a more defined audience of potential buyers, which can later be optimized for "Purchases."
Once your pixel has gathered sufficient data and has a better understanding of your target audience, you can then switch your optimization goal to "Complete Payments/Purchase" to focus directly on driving sales.
Keep running your ads optimized for "Add to Cart" to build data, and once enough is gathered, the option should become available.
thank you so much♥
You're welcome and thanks for watching!
Hi, I want to set the location in the United States, but the US isn't included (I live in Germany), how to solve this?
Hey there! TikTok has restrictions on the countries/regions you can target based on the country/region you used to register your TikTok for Business account. If you created a German TikTok for Business account, you can target:
Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Kuwait, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom.
Here's the article on where you can target depending on your location: ads.tiktok.com/help/article/placements-available-locations?lang=ru
If you need to target the US, there are workarounds, such as getting a TikTok agency ad account that can target any country, though these can be difficult to obtain. Another option is to buy a virtual US address and virtual US number to create a local ads account.
Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to me :)
Hello Julia I tried to open TikTok ads but it asks me for a license and I do not have it Can you tell me what to do......? Thank you
Hey there! There may be different requirements for setting up TikTok ads depending on your location. You might need to reach out to TikTok customer support to ask about the specific licensing requirements. They should be able to provide you with guidance on what steps to take next.
hi,, You are amazing and beautiful and smart I love you the way you explaining … keep it up
Hey, thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you're enjoying the video! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out :)
@@Shopify-Success Thankyou so much for the reply dear. I just started Shopify and now improving by watching your videos ,ya sure I must ask question where I'm not clear or I stuck 💫💖💝💞
Your voice ❤❤
Hey, thank you! I'm glad you like it! If you have any questions at all, feel free to let me know :)
Please make a similar video on Facebook ads tutorial also.
Hey there! Thanks for the suggestion, I'll keep it in consideration. If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask :)
Hey i am from India. I can't run tik tok ads. And also in my country tik tok is banned. So what fo u think is there any way to run that?
Hey there! Since TikTok is banned in India, running ads directly on TikTok from within the country isn't possible. However, there are some workaround you might consider:
1. Partner with influencers from countries where TikTok is not banned so they can promote your products to their audience
2. Consider utilize similar social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram or RUclips Shorts, which are popular in India and can give you a wide reach
If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)
Why my ads have status "Not delivered, not at scheduled time" ? and my group also has "Outside of schedule"
Hey there! If your ads are not delivered at the scheduled time, please check the following:
1. Your account is still under review
2. You account's balance cannot cover your costs
3. The campaign's lifetime budget has been reached
4. The ads will be delivered according to the time zone you set. Please double-check your time zone setting and make sure you've set the right time to start delivery.
It may also be that your ads are still pending approval by TikTok.
Hope this solves it! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know :)
Can we do free adds on tiktok?
Here's a video on how to set up a one-product Shopify store with dropshipping: ruclips.net/video/zEWicVcBbeM/видео.html

I used TikTok for a while know but after installing the app on my shopify store and connect my account it comes up with an error “"information for this time zone does not exist" and it goes into a refreshing undending loop. Am not sure how to fix this
Hey there! That's unusual, you can try refreshing your cookies or trying a different internet browser. If the issue persists, I recommend hopping on a live chat with a Shopify customer support agent. They are available 24/7 and can help you step-by-step through resolving this issue.
Here's a link to start the support live chat:
help.shopify.com/en/support/confirm-account-details?returnTo=/en/support/login
Once you open the link, you will see a big chat on the right side of the screen. Type in ''I would like to speak with a customer support agent live'' . They will connect you with an agent! Alternatively you can also email Shopify directly.
Here's a link to it: zendrop.sjv.io/shopify-success
Regarding your second question, the money to purchase the product from your supplier will not be taken from the customer's payment; there will be two separate transactions.
If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)

why is tiktok asking me to pay for PIPO Privacy policy
Hey there! PIPO is TikTok's US merchant account name and their payment system in the US. I'm not sure why they are asking you to pay for their privacy policy. I recommend reaching out TikTok's customer support for assistance with this. They'll be able to provide you with the help you need.

Hey! Why is online store sessions 1.2k% but no sell
If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)
do you decide your target audience demographics yourself based on your product or do you get an expert to decide it for you? 🤔
