I was very impressed with Dwade. His question on the tee box about where to put your tee down was a strategic question for a golf rookie. And he took tigers instruction like a pro. Hope the best for tiger. My favorite golfer of all time.
He’s the most influential golfer of all time. So many people, myself included, started playing because of Tiger. The TV ratings when he’s in contention are astronomical different in comparison to when he’s not.
I think my favorite thing about this one is watching an elite athlete alongside Tiger. Spade and Jada were cool but Dwayne's a guy who's been at the peak and can really understand Tiger and knows what to ask. Super cool content and I hope to see more like this once Tiger's healthy again. Maybe Gretzky?
This is a masterclass. The best thing about Tiger is he keeps encouraging and doesn't come with the "I'm the teacher here" vibe. That makes learning so much enjoyable.
Watching the evolution of Tiger over the last 5-7 years has been incredible. His mistakes have been there, but the way that he has evolved over the last several years have been remarkable to watch. I love videos like this where they expose the normal side of Tiger, not the locked in version on the golf course in a tournament. Wishing him a speedy recovery!
I’m not much of a Basketball watcher/fan, but I’m now a Dwayne Wade fan. What a humble gentleman he is. Golf has a way of doing that to a person, but I sense that he’s truly a genuine person. It’s nice to see.
This is so cool seeing 2 legends of their own sport coming together. Hate that Tiger had his accident shortly after this. Glad he is okay and hope he continues to get better!
The slight chuckle and smile then the “this is the one dad taught me” you can tell it hit him in his feels a little bit.. you can tell. Much love to you and your family during this recovery
Tiger understand the sport and has been humbled by it. I love how he’s looking at the positives and is not being agorrant towards Dwaynes shots. There’s people at our local courses that would frown playing with amateurs. Which is sad.
D Wade has such a good demeanor and personality. He really was one of the greats in the NBA and still is off the court. Tiger will be back it’s just a matter of time, he’s too driven not to make it happen.
This is inspiring. Wade was very humble and to see a pro athlete at the top of the game, ask so many questions that beginners want to ask, absorb the answers and execute the shot is brilliant. Golf is hard and I've always said I will get lessons eventually but assume I can learn it all for free on RUclips. I have booked my first 3 lessons for tomorrow. Man I'd give anything to have this opportunity with Tiger!! I'm 40 and have been watching him since the beginning. He's the ONLY reason I ever picked up a club. Football, basketball or the streets were the only options where I grew up for kids. This man literally bought all cultures to golf.... Thanks Tiger Woods 🙏🏼
So I just watched this video. The little thing I picked up on was when wade was going for the putt, and Tiger's ball was closer than his. Tiger in a joking way says "I win." It may seem like something small, but you can see that competitive beast within him, even in such a laid-back round of golf. truly amazing. He and MJ are truly the most competitive athletes in the world in every sense of the word.
Boy said he wasn't done then came out with 1 leg at the 2022 masters shot a 71 R1 & made all 3 cuts. Not Bryson. Brooks. Jordan. Reed. The 46 yr old 1 legged man. He is incredible. He's gonna get another major. I hope he gets 4. 🙏 #GOAT Edit: the moment at 4:11 when he smirks and says "this my dad taught me." They don't make love like that. Earl was that guy.
Love this. One thing all amateur golfers have in common is the lack of holding their follow through. Almost all let the club fall down in a reverse swing, as if the club weighs a ton, which lacks intention. I think teaching them to hold their pose for a few seconds no matter the outcome will build more confidence...then when you hit the good shots, it's club twirling time! And Tiger is without a doubt the GOAT, mainly because he brought so many more eyeballs to the game.
This is fantastic. I'm a big fan of both guys. It's fascinating to watch Tiger's almost relentlessly positive optimism along with D-Wade's natural athleticism and eminent coachability. Between the two, they craft a golf game like it was magic.
