‘Top 10 gerstlaur rollercoasters’
Europe: this is where the fun begins!
Goldrush at Slagharen in the Netherlands is also a very good Gerstlauer infinity coaster!
@@sdaniel9129 Same for Fury in Bobbejaanland.
I am very proud of my Great Britain, that's the first time we've had two coasters in the top ten EVER!
Of course!
Europe in particular the UK also dominates in horror rollercoasters, I don't know what it is with Europe, Horror and Gerslauer. They just make sense together!
I'm a UK coaster enthusiast and this just makes me proud of our two main theme parks. (Thorpe park) (Alton Towers). I haven't been to Blackpool yet so rip Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
Came here to see Karnan as number 1, was not disappointed.
Love your channel mate
Hey coaster bot
Karnan nr. 1 was not even a suprize
Thanks for spoiling it

KARACHO AT 4?
WOW THAT WAS UNEXPECTED.
but deserved, I really loved this coaster. Great Hangtime, awesome launch, awesome layout and a great soundtrack.
Karacho is litterally the most boring Coaster in the Park. Its not the worst, but its Boring. No Forces After the Launch. I would pick Monster over this anytime

English enthusiasts constantly moan about smiler and saw, I personally think they’re amazing. Glad to see someone who appreciates them. Absolute quality countdown taylor. Great job 👏🏻
I'm from the UK and Saw is my favourite ride at Thorpe Park and Smiler is my favourite coaster in the UK and 2nd favourite coaster overall behind Tonnerre De Zeus at Parc Asterix which is an amazing CCI!
I feel like you should re-review Silver Dollar City at some point since the old review was only based off of half a day there. Even though SDC had a spot in your Top 15 parks video, the review doesn’t really make it sound much like a park worthy of that spot. It would be nice to hear a fresh, updated perspective after your more recent visits since it seems the park has grown on you quite a bit!
I agree!

Unglaublich. Der kleine Familienpark Hansa-Park mit der Nummer 1 und 3. Immer wieder gerne dort.
I'm so glad there's 2 coasters from the UK, I have been on both and IMO The Smiler is definitely my favourite due to the amount of inversions and you literally cannot get the song out your head for the rest of the day!!!
When you’re so early there are more likes than views.
Yeah What the heck I reloaded and there were 28 likes and 7 views-

Saw the ride at number 9! "Best ride at Thorpe Park" Whoop whoop! Very happy to see my home park and my fave UK coaster on here!
I already was satisfied when Karacho appeared as video in this video but then that placement... I'm blown away
Kärnan just looks incredible! ❤️Awesome video as usual! 🙂 If you ever get the chance, make sure to give Speed: No Limits a go because that is by far the most intense Gerstlauer I've experienced. That helix is insane! 👍
the UK's best eurofighter in my opinion, you get some great airtime straight after the drop, and one of the weirdest but cool loops ever
Finally a list that includes something from the UK 😌 really enjoyed this one!
Karnan is actually designed by Werner Stengel, probably why it actually has pacing and is by far the best gerstlauer
The design on Kärnan is made by Gerstlauer. Werner Stengel was the g-force-calculator.
Love it that Monster made the list! I haven't been to Europe, but from the ones in America, Monster is definitely my favorite. Great list!
Excellent video based on the ones I’ve ridden. The design, engineering and vast amount if track used for the smiler is often missed by soo many. I’d love to see more track lighting on coasters in general - it looks awesome.
Always great to see some more Hansa Park on this channel💪🏼
It was a great day with you guys... Pre-Corona... *sad coaster enthusiast noises*
I loved every coaster manufactured by Gerstlauer! Even the Wild Mouse Coasters too!
Love seeing these lists/countdowns becoming more frequent!
I’ve only ridden Hangtime but it’s quite fun and smooth, as you mentioned. Great ranking video overall, from a manufacturer that doesn’t get as much love in the US.
It’s always a good day when coaster studios posts a top 10 video
Kärnan is so underrated! Easily one of europes best coasters. Fluch von Nowgorod is also Amazing!
Fun vid. Monster at night just might be the most beautiful coaster I’ve ever seen.
As a UK enthusiast I’m so happy to see not one but TWO UK coasters on a top ten list!
I don't believe I've ridden a Gerstlauer Roller Coaster. I need to! They look really intense!
Taylor just popping off with content and I’m here for it
YES glad to see Saw on the list!
Monster is easily my favorite, followed by HangTime, then Dare Devil Dive. But since I haven't ridden any of the others on your list, we are right in line with each other so far.
Really cool to see that you mantioned Tripsdrill as a great location. Its not on the map for most american enthusiasts but its my homepark. I've been there since I was 5 and even my grandma was there in the 60s (its GER oldest themepark). Especially with the new STC Hals über Kopf a park you should go on your next europe-tour.
I hope dare devil dive is here
Edit: lol it’s literally #10
It is
Great video! I’d love to see a top ten coasters in the UK. I know you only went to 3 of our parks but still that’s 27 coaster😂😂
Speed the ride is my personal favourite euro fighter, definitely recommend if you ever get the chance
I can go to Hansapark whenever I want because I live only 1 km from it. I love both roller coasters. Both Fluch von Novgorod and kärnan. Where I must say that Kärnan has surpassed the Fluch von Novgorod once again clearly. It is my favorite coaster and really has an incredible layout and almost perfect theming. Good video and also good ranking :)
Try to pronounce Kärnan more like CAREnan, thats actually as close as you can get to the german pronunciation
Hello. Im from Germany. Thats not actually a german word but the "ä" is a typical german letter. And your hint on the pronunciation is right. Have a good one. I like it when all nationalities come together at a topic like roller coasters!
I thought Karnan was pronouced “K-Ä-nan”
@@coasterhockygamingboy9549 you forgot the "r". so as Oh Boy Uff said. CAREnan. that is right ;)
Yes. Or even CARE-nun.
Well, actually Kärnan is a Swedish word and named after the fort of the same name in Helsingborg. So it should really be pronounced closer to chair-nan.
I have only ridden Monster at Adventureland, but it's enough to know I love Gerstlauer coasters. Thorpe and Alton Towers are on my bucket list.
Gerstlauer is one of the most underrated and best attraction manufacturers in existence.
Monster is in my top 3 coasters and my favorite flat ride is TMNT Shellshock at Nickelodeon Universe Minnesota.
Also Mystery Mine is an extremely underrated coaster for me!
Completely agree about Karnan. You can really feel the purported 5Gs at the bottom of that first vertical drop transitioning to a hill.
I agree with what you said and love your vids 👍👍🥳
Got stuck for nearly an hour on Dare Devil dive completely stapled, and it gave me a hernia....seriously....literally am not joking
Yikes! Did you get compensated by the park?
@@StamfordBridge yup, I was told ‘have a six flags day!’
Coaster MOG Should have replied, “I just did!”
The one I've ridden the most is Tantrum, which is pretty short, but still packs a punch. Gerstlauers are fun.
Thank god u included Saw
I am so lucky Hansapark is my homepark💚
Awesome:) mine is great adventure with eltoro, would love to exchange for Karnan for a time to experience one of the most intense steel coasters 👍
HansaPark is my Home Park.. About one hour away. Home to 2 of the Top 3 Gerstlauers in the World!.. :) Love Kärnan! 😍
Thank goodness Takabisha exists in NJ, indoors, though I've yet to get to it. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go until Sandy's was open but now that it is....
I won't get to Europe anytime soon, but least the best of the US is right in my backyard :)
Well, so far, I’ve yet to ride a gerstlauer coaster. My first experience, weather permitting, will be in May when I go to Dollywood. I know Mystery Mine won’t leave the greatest first impression of the company’s work, but hopefully there will be more to follow. I definitely plan on getting to more parks ASAP.
Gerstlauer is one manufacturer I wish to build a coaster in my country. I think they can be a crowd pleaser, with their vertical drops and multiple inversions. Also they can fit big thrills in compact layout and more affordable than most of the premium manufacturers.
I love to see smiler so high. My favourite roller coaster
I hear mixed reviews of Saw: The Ride, but it's cool that this Eurofighter is on the list.
This video put hansa park up a few slots in my bucket list
Interesting that Saw makes your list, I find it pretty torturous. Though I guess that in itself does fit the theme
I have only ridden Novgorod and Kärnan yet, hopefully in 2021 I will get on Karacho ^^
To me takabisha looks very very fun i wish there were more big scale inversion coasters in and around Germany
You should make a top 10 manufacturers list.
I'll do it now from 10-1 b and m then just rmc rmc rmc rmc rmc rmc rmc rmc rmc rmc
he did do a top 10 manufacturers list
heres a tip, when you go on a channels page, theres a search thing which you can use to search specifically for the channels videos
Interesting top ten.. can’t say I agree with your order but I respect you opinions.. all coasters on this list go hard tho for sure ! 💯
I’d love to see a video about gravity group because I think they are extremely underrated (besides the voyage)
This list needs updating asap! Also, personally I’ve yet to ride a good gerstlauer coaster. I’ve hated all of them. I highly doubt that will ever change, honestly.
In case anyone wonders: Kärnan has the overbuilt supports because the tower for the lift absolutely wreaks havoc on the wind (the park is right on the coast of the baltic sea).
They even had to tear down a high flyer because the turbulence got so bad.
Also this year they opened their first Infinity Inverted Coaster named ”Storm” in Tusenfryd, featuring 3 launches, through the coaster is very short, it sure as hell is very intense… it’s a bit rough, so hopefully they can fix that in the future, but i am sure it’ll become smoother over time as this is the first of their new class.
Fluch von Novgorod is so underrated! For sure one a Top 5 Coasters in Germany
Fluch von Novgorod was actually changed/retracked shortly after opening.
They had a small bunnyhop-hill that was so stupidly jolty (and only like half a meter high) that they ripped it out after one year and had some new track made to patch the gap.
Can u do a Busch Gardens Williamsburg (home park!!!) top ten coasters? My fav is either Verbolten (I wasn’t alive at the time of the Wolf) or Nessie
I know Europe has a lot of great Gerstlauer coasters. From Karen to Flush von to the Smiler, to great Eurofighters, they are like Gerstlauer heaven. But I know we have good ones here in the US as well like with Hangtime and Monster.
karen lol
lol
Please do top 10 B&M inverted or floor less coasters.
an honourable mention would be Fury at Bobbejaanland in Belgium ;) It's an Infinity coaster with a triple launch section, starting and ending with these really steep beyond vertical spikes. also what makes this ride so special is that you can vote if you want the train to go forwards or backwards ;) it's not the most intens ride like Karnan, but it is a really thrilling and scary ride with some really good hang/airtime (idk if hanging on a beyond vertical spike is air or hangtime haha)
Fury looks awesome!
My first Gerstlauer will most likely either be at Dollywood or the American Dream Mall.
Awesome
The Smiler is the only Gerstlauer I’ve ever really loved and I’ve ridden an awful lot of them. I haven’t gotten to Hansa park though 😿. “You belong to the smiler” makes me smile just thinking about it.
Thank you for putting my home park coaster at Number 5. I’m surprised you preferred it over Takabisha.
PS: Please come back to Nick Universe for Sandy’s Blasting Bronco. You will enjoy it.
I love how the two in the UK on the list have the creepiest theming 😆
Gerstlauer is deffenetly one of my faverites!
Here is my list
1 Kärnan
2 Fluch von novgorod
3 Karacho
4 Gold Rush
5 Smiler
6 Van Helsings Factory
7 Saw the ride
8 Heisse farht
9 Lynet
10 Fury
I was a small bit surprised when smiler came 2nd because of how violent the second airtime hill is but Karnan is a very respectable choice.
If i'm being honest Smiler topped my overall list because I got a night ride when it was running so fast that they only ran 2 trains and the que time was not affected, unfortunately that made the trims worse but if your in the front the trims don't hit until after the airtime hill.
I like them actually
Nice one. What's funny to me as a German is, if you switch out the way you pronounce the two vowels in Kärnan in English there, you get the correct German translation 😁
Interesting to see TMNT ahead of Takbisha, I've always heard Takabisha is so much smoother
Takabisha definitely is smoother
I remember meeting you at Knott’s at the front gate
Wow was not expecting smiler so far do it amazing but but take higher saw just because mid section have nearly breaks that last bit so intense finish off the ride
Have ridden smiler and do like the ride
Anyone else remember when Taylor was still the coasterguy14 and he did a countdown of top ten eurofoghters?
My favourite from this list is definitely the smiler. And I do agree the theme is kinda messed up 😅
Cannibal in Lagoon is considered a Eurofighther despite not being built by Gerstlaurer ? I say that because has an identical layout.
The In House made track on Cannibal looks very similar to Zieris/Gerslaurs track style.
I'm going to rank every Gerstauer coaster I've ever ridden in 3, 2, 1...
1. FireChaser Express
Please do a Saw the ride review
Have you tried Anubis at Plopsaland, Belgium? That launch is so good!
I have not yet!
@@CoasterStudios maybe you should come visit when covid is under control? And with the new xtreme spinning 'Ride to Happiness' I'm sure you'll love the park! :p
Excellent video 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂
shellraiser is def at number one for me and Hangtime places 2nd
If you're coming to Europe again, you should go to Bobbejaanland in Belgium and ride fury, a gerstlauer triple launch coaster. It's an intense and great looking ride. A Fun element is that you can vote for a forward or backwards ride.
With how many great rides Belgium has been getting, I wouldn't miss it!
@@CoasterStudios yeah, I'm so happy my little country is getting 2 insane rides this year, I really can't wait but I'm really worried the pandemic will cause the season opening(april 3rd) to be delayed again.
If we counted Cannibal at Lagoon as a Gerstlauer, (Because come on, its basically a mega eurofighter) would it place, and if so where would you put it?
Agree on the theming for Saw, but that's about it. Intense, yes, but horrendously rough, the transition at the bottom of the main drop into the immelmann is bone jarring, the ejector airtime after the overbank would be ok without the uncomfortable shoulder restraints, and doesn't get trimmed at all on the mid course (I'm sure it used to when it first opened), so for me it takes the dive loop way too fast. The indoor section is good, and that's about where it ends for me. Nemesis Inferno and The Swarm are far superior rides at Thorpe Park imo. I enjoy The Smiler much more, and also will be experiencing Anubis at Plopsaland for the first time this Monday coming (20th June), plus a few others round Northern Europe I haven't done yet.
Karnän was one of my favourites I've ridden aswell. Only i don't like the color scheme of it. Too bad I only rode fluch von novgorod once when I was at hansa park due to a long waiting queue and wanted to do kärnan twice that day. I really wanna go back someday.
There's one thing annoying me about kärnan. It's how the little trick seems to slow down operations.
It's nothing unusual to see an empty train behind the one you're boarding and at some point you just want to skip that tower sequence, if you've had a few rides already.
And about the roughness: guess the wheels are being used up pretty quickly. Heard rumors that they use cheaper wheels not directly from gerstlauer to minimize costs.
Anyways, glad my homepark gets some attention nowadays 💙
Did you know there is a clone of dare devil dive in Belgium but with launch instead of lifthil.
The name is anubis
When Nessie at Busch Garden got to a graceful 40 y/o me and the rest of my fam attempted to ride it 40 times,we actually ride it 45!!!!!
It’s not every day you see a PROPER enthusiast say good things about smiler
i'm still mad that hangtime was closed when i went to knotts... it wouldve been my first infinity
Idk man I’m a local of Knotts and hangtime picked up a rattle recently
When you go back to Europe, you should go to Oakwood and try out speed, its better than saw by a long shot :)
the airtime hill is insane and awsome
