- Finally back with this banger of a track. Man, what a level! I love just how fast paced and energetic this level feels. I noticed this track has some similarities with Run, Shoot and Jump from the film's OST, funilly enough it plays during the Archives Scene and also when Bond is chasing Alec up the Antenna.
The intro is a piece by @Bismuth-Music called Silo DLTK Intro which I played myself. I'll link the original video at the bottom.
Decided to get my guitar out once again for this one. I remember hearing this track again for the first time in years and it was around the time I started playing guitar, I realised the piano riff is a fucking great guitar riff. I'd like to imagine Grant Kirkhope wrote that on guitar originally.
I also love the way this level actually uses the X Track and how it transitions once you do enough damage to Alec.
I'm sorry this one took a while to come out, a lot longer than I had anticipated. I hope it was worth the wait. 😌

The intro on this song only appeared in my 13th story, and it was also the only story to not include Jona. Jona was replaced by Lina for that story, but returned during the 14th story, after Lina confirmed that she had exam work to do. Jona was afraid of making mistakes. Since there were fewer people available, Sunniva who was just 2 years younger than Jona was chosen to assist, as she had greater skills on programming than Lina had. All these changes occurred during the 14th story.

I don't think I am exaggerating when I say that's one of the most badass lines in cinema history haha. Great remake, the drums at the end are awesome.

LFG! This rendition was awesome. I love the intro piano. Captures a lot of emotion headed into the mission, everything is high stakes. The score with Trevelyan will finally be settled. Just awesome, no other words to describe the remake.
I cant wait for Aztec and Citadel! Both are also bangers of tracks.
Thankyou. I'm glad you liked the intro. I never thought of it that way, but it is quite fitting. I toyed with the idea of making my own Elevator music to follow from Caverns into Cradle, but settled with this.

It's been quite the journey following the creation of these songs and now we're approaching the final few...its kind of sad that the goldeneye anticipation is nesrly over but at the same time its great I can now listen to the whole OST nearly 😊 excited to see where you go from here!
Yeah it is a little bittersweet. I've really enjoyed working on this OST. Even now after working on it for so long, I still get the urge to play this game.

@@mattspence1337 I had a blast playing through it again, even on an N64 controller I got used to the controls so quick and really enjoyed it. It definitely made me realize the OST is a masterpiece!
I've just turned 35. The sound track for Silo used to play in my head if I was late school if I was really late cradle did!

Yeah it makes sense really, with both tracks being fairly fast paced and also the fact that both levels had you on a timer.

That's literally the most important part of the track, you wouldn't believe the amount of remakes and remixes I've listened to that either omit it completely or don't do it justice.
Oh I wasn't aware that people missed that part out in their versions of this track. That's crazy, it literally plays the main lick 😆

For real tho some get the guitar incorrect as well not soundin remotely close to how it sounds this just nails it right on the head one remake/remix has the background instrument missing what i refer to as "the antenna cradle is active" get running sound
YEEEAH! kickass. That piano intro is amazing. After the long final wait for cradle it's finally here and better than ever. Cradle is quite possibly top 5 best soundtracks in gaming history, and this heavy awesome remake makes it probably top 1. I absolutely love how balls to wall crazy this is, everything is just so deep and heavy. This definitely tops all the other Cradle remakes. My only critique is that the drums started playing immediately at the start, usually one of my favorite parts of the song is at 1:15 because in the original that's when the louder, heavier snare started and went hard. Other than that small critique this song is an absolute banger. Thank you, can't wait for Aztec and Cradle

I spent the most time mixing this one. I know what you mean about the drums in the Intro, I couldn't get that snare to sit right amongst the other instruments. The original it sounds like its hit with a brush stick, or a ghost note maybe.
I remember you commented about one of the previous tracks (think it was the Title Theme) and how it sounded like a heavier version. Well that made me decided to go with a heavier remake for this one, so thanks for that 😁 and thankyou for listening and your feedback.
@@mattspence1337 Another thing I forgot to mention, but one of my favorite things about this is just the atmosphere of the music, like the music really does make it feel like you have the pressure in your hands to stop 006 and knowing if you fail all of London will fall, It just adds that scenic intensity that I think was missed in the original version.
@prestongehrig2824 yeah I get what you mean. I'd like to say it's probably due to the compression and limitations of the N64 at the time. The sounds weren't great when you look back, but at the time it was crazy to be hearing music of that quality on a cartridge.

Actually did notice the similarities between this and the film's track. Interesting choice for the intro but it works as does the whole thing, as if it wouldn't :D. About this level, always got annoyed by the infinitely spawning guards interfering in the duel. May have been a little flat without them but they could have lowered their spawn rate a bit or an objective to cut them off.
So what's next after this? I think you mentioned it before but I don't remember which one you talked about. Obviously I'd like Perfect Dark but you do you.
Yeah I have to agree there, the last time I did a play through on 00agent, this level just kept kicking my ass. My health just seemed to get zapped away by Alec.
Yeah, after this I plan on doing some remakes from other games. There's a lot of old games I havent played, but I love music, so I'm open to any suggestions.
I got round to playing Donkey Kong Country 2 and was blown away by the soundtrack. David Wise is a bloody genius.

Was habe ich bei Cradel gekotzt als ich mir die ganzen Cheats / mods im Spiel freigespielt habe.....und in dem einen Level ging grundsätzlich immer was schief😂😂
