Will be interesting to see what it all looks like in 3 to 5 years time.

@@Rail_Focus True. It might be the case that the grasslands will open before the opening of the railway so we may get to see some test trains up close

Chalk grassland is really rare and any remaining areas tend to be very highly protected. (I had a planning application for horse stables north of the M23 and this was refused as Natural England were concerned that the horse manure would make the soil too fertile and the rare plants etc would suffer!)
So, what HS2 are doing here is really important.

It's a shame more people don't know about the good work that HS2 is doing. This will be a important place for nature and a great public amenity

Amazing work still continuing with HS2. Despite its only going as far as Birmingham Curzon Street.

Great video. HS2 should be making these themselves, their PR has been woefully inadequate given the size of the project.

Their PR is improving and I think they finally see the importance of RUclips and RUclipsrs, but they could do better. I'm happy to make these videos though if it means I get to visit sites 😁

There is much more detail in your reports than those of HS2. They dispel some of the negative statements by the Nimbys etc.

I presume that the residents of Chalfont St Nimby will resist the inclusion on footpaths and bridlepaths and will block any access by local people to this new area in order to preserve its ecology, with all the gusto with which they whinged about the damage caused by the original building work.
