Lindy Hop Class Recap: 8 count down the line, leader sneak swingout variation, 8 count tuck turn

8 count move closed to follow turn down the line to closed - normal eight count footwork. Easiest way to start this idea is with some linear movement together during the 3 & 4 turn prep. Next move is a similar move also 8 counts with the same footwork but after the full time turn accelerate turn speed and follow does a free turn in triple step turn speed right into a rock step on 1. Naomi styles this by doing a hop ball change rather than a step ball change for her triple during the turn. Leader sneak swingout - normal footwork and go under your own arm on 5 after you catch and redirect on 3 & 4. Think about making the max stretch point happen a hair earlier than your normal swingouts so you can release your right arm early enough to sneak on 5 and not feel like you have to leave your arm connected so long. Leader footwork variation with a replace step on 5 and then let leg swing and plant on 6 - really think about orienting your body sideways. 8 count underam side pass with lead and follow doing free turns. Normal side pass but on 5 lead a free turn and do a full turn (step step) down the line and reconnect in open.
