  • Lead and follow head movement advice. Alternate 8 count footwork (quick quick slow quick quick slow). Swivel technique - counterbody arm movement. Carla expresses the rhythm well with both her hips and her feet and it ends up that she doesn't put weight on the foot when it hits the ground during swivels. Pulse strongly on 1 and 2 and keep knees bent. Bring the knees up to strongly express the rhythm when you are putting your foot down. 2 moves forward in the swingout variation that they suggest (leader footwork is hold 8, and then tap tap on 1 and 2). On (7)uh use that moment to widen your stance (follows) in preparation for some big swivels.

The facility manager in the background is an amazing side kick. Do you have him in all of your videos? ;)

Did you practice swingout without triple steps as well? Did you have enough movement in those?

Yeah the challenge of the swingouts without triples is to have just the right foot placement and body movement to try and mimic the movement of tripling through it.

I find that i will tend to under rotate swingouts without the triples.
