Remington 1100 shotgun disassembly - short - ASMR (play 2x speed)

The purpose of my videos is to provide information to SGC and FAC shooters which is otherwise difficult to find in the UK market. The information I share is intended to inform and support members of our community to research certain products and encourage good maintenance practices to ensure safety and longevity for their firearms.
A short reference guide to stripping down the Remington 1100 shotgun for cleaning.
Model is a left handed Remington 1100 from 1987, reproofed in 1989 to updated UK spec.

Very nice wish you could have shown the holes in the barrel that needs to be cleaned out for the gas action

It wouldn't have been possible with the camera I was using. However, if you have an 1100 or 11-87 - whip your barrel off and look down from the breach end and you can't miss them :).

@@jabbott376 thank you I have the 1100 410 sporting no trigger action it won't fire

@@melfordsolomon8244 missing trigger plate aside, is the .410 model the same design at the 12 bore?

@@jabbott376 same 1100 series just a 410 bore but when I pull the trigger nothing happens. It's a semiautomatic. But I won't fire

@@melfordsolomon8244 does it cock and release the hammer when you pull the trigger? If the trigger plate is all functioning correctly, have you checked the firing pin hasn't snapped?
