    Well, I personally prefer to combine summoners not with Order, but with nature, while utilizing unicorn mounts to make support units phase earlier. Tome of Evocation for mounted Evokers, Tome of Beast for mounted Wildspeakers (another source of battlefield summons) and spell Summon Wild Animal, that summons tier 1-2 magical origin beast that often evolves into tier 3-4. Finishing with Phase Beast boosted by both Summoner and Wildspeaker. Basically Trixie Stardust from that pre-release dev stream.

      Great build! I will definitely try it. What other tomes are effective for this build? Is there a complete list in the database?

    I tried a new build today since I don't have to work today, and funny enough I ended up with the mystic summoners,too.
    I abused the fact that the eldritch sovereign is a magic origin unit itself. So I picked the awkward perfectionist artisans trait so I start with the tier 3 unit. It works really awesome.
    Your build looks interesting,too. Never worked with mighty of the meak. But I think I will switch the channelers with the uniters or the bannerlords since I almost never run out of mana in my games.

    I have been trying order astral mystic culture as well. Mine is school of attunement though. Attunement star blades stacks with mighty meek rather powerfully. I have an eldritch sovereign as my leader and Im using the dual affinity astral tomes tentacle, fey mists and corruption then moving into astral mirror. Tentacle for the constriction on mages, fey mists because the mist gives you a lot of survivability, corruption has a lot of strong spells, astral mirror for the reflection on your front line. side note the empowered by magic form trait is really good here as any non physical damage is going to give your racial units strengthened. Tome of reflection is also for the astral reflection spell. I use it to photo copy my tier 3 battle mages. The rest of my tomes are the faithful order ones. Mine is not auto battle friendly as you need to manage the battle to get the most out of star blades. The combat loop is pretty simple. cast a spell buff the whole army. Late game that spell is astral reflection. The spell makes a perfect copy of the unit down to its buffs and debuffs. So you can have your support buff a unit then copy it. In my case its the tier 3 battle mages. Every combat turn I get to make another battle mage. They do not time out as far as im aware and they get all your buffs and racial traits. Since Im school of attunement Im never going to run out of casting points either. Once those run dry I can use echoes for it. I too struggle with mystics economy. I did figure out that its reliant on magic. What ever the spell is you have to find a way to economize it. If you have a lot of combat spells then start blasting neutral armies for their loot, or even wonders. If you have spells that target vassals like faithful whispers use them. have spells that work on enemy cities they start sieging. Any time you can use magic to take the burden off your economy do it. Finding creative ways to use spells to gain an edge is part of the charm of mystic culture regardless of school. I just want to point out that you can order your vassals to attack and defend. So a spell like blessed reinforcements is pretty good if you use your vassals to attack and defend. You can convert your magic into troops that you don't pay upkeep on to attack an enemy by proxy. If a vassal takes a city it can be vassalized too. There is also the bounty system. While its never ideal to pay an opponent mystic culture tends to have a surplus of magic. So if you need something gone, but don't want to deal with it yourself you can do that. Or be evil and butt into a war between two other factions and use your vassals and bounties to harass some one from afar.

    What is the strongest build so far?

    • @Ic0nGaming
      @Ic0nGaming  3 месяца назад +1

      So far everything Mystic imho. The new rework left them stronger on every end and it's hard for other cultures to keep up.

      @@Ic0nGaming so what's the strongest one u made so far since the update?

      @@AnthonyBrown-jp6zn Feelingwise the one right here. The staying power + the vassalization power, lots of research potential, lots of flexibility. It's also been very fast compared to the other builds. To be fair I do test them on the new random realms so its hard to compare them fairly.

      @@Ic0nGaming on brutal?

    • @Ic0nGaming
      @Ic0nGaming  3 месяца назад +2

      @@AnthonyBrown-jp6zn No, hard. Brutal is too time intense for just testings sake. I personally don't enjoy brutal difficulty too much as it is doable, but most of the time quite tedious. Hard hits the sweet spot for me.
