The media will not stop until ultimately the Catholic faith is watered down and finally destroyed. Look how giddy Charlie Rose is? The church has always maintained that we are to love the sinner but reject the sin. But like the late great Bishop Sheen said.. " We cannot begin to receive the mercy of God until we recognize that we are sinners". ... it's the absolute denial of sin in the first place where we see a division.

Popes in past centuries forbid successors to accept homosexual priests ; it means gay priesthood is invalid.
Homosexuals can create cabal of their proclivity to homosexual practices; they can create cabal of discrimination against heterosexual seminarians and priests ; they would be very hard to discipline in their gay practice because they would invent reasons to maintain acceptance; they can be formidable to oppose by their lies; they fight back and will destroy those who oppose them; those who oppose them will become too weak to fight back; so many difficulties can happen in the church.
The church needs to find remedies right away ; but lots of struggles will insue.

What Jesus said to the prostitute isn't the same as what Bergoglio said " who am I to judge". Christ's command is clear: teach all my way so that they may repent from their evil ways. Because prostitution isn't Christ's way, He tells the woman go and sin no more. Bergoglio isn't telling homosexuals to go and sin more. He refuses to even tell them that what they have chosen isn't Christ's way.

I am Catholic, and this a basic question, Catholics doesn't want to discuss. When they tolerated gay priest, to enter the church, child abuse had increased. The truth is, the church was made to be the hiding place of homosexual, as the bishop's would always be to there rescue. Most often the victims were being paid in order to keep quite. I could only pray that Homosexual priest as their organization are growing and it's influence in the church will not hijack the church.

You are absolutely right in the statement that priests are not supposed to have sex. But being attracted to somebody and having sex with them are two completely different things. You can still be attracted to the same sex and not have sex with them.

God accepts gays, bisexuals, and homosexuals, provided that they stop engaging in homosexual practices. The Bible says marriage and sex is to only be between a married man and woman (Genesis 1:27-28; Leviticus 18:22; Proverbs 5:18-19). To be clear, the Bible condemns ANY kind of fornication, immorality, or adultery, GAY OR STRAIGHT (Galatians 5:19-21). All of that being said, I do respect people and their right to make choices in their lives (Joshua 24:15) and always treat people, gay or straight, with the utmost respect (1 Peter 1:27; Matthew 7:12; 2 Corinthians 10:4-5), as Jesus welcomes us all exercising faith in him (John 3:18). However, faith by itself, is not enough, as we have to work in harmony with what we know to be true (James 1:22; 2:26) and repent from practicing sinful practices (1 Peter 4:3; 1 John 2:15-17; 1 John 5:19), if we want to be subjects of the Kingdom of Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). To all of those that still think that you can practice sin and still be pleasing to God, remember that God gave these people up (Romans 1:24-28) and everlasting destruction awaits all of those that practices willful sin (Jude 1:4; Proverbs 2:22; Revelation 17:16; Revelation 18:21).
Many religions, churches, and preachers teach that you can do what you want, in spite of how the Bible condemns all sin and wickedness. For those reasons, I don’t go to Churches. I have developed my own personal relationship with God, and I stay at home, reading my Bible.

Please do not presume to know me. Who is changing church doctrine? Sin is sin. I am not arguing that and if you listen to Cardinal Dolan he is not either. But we are to love the sinner, hate the sin. The examples in the Gospels that Cardinal Dolan gave were great examples of how Jesus treated sinners. He didn't call the Adulteress out, he waited until everyone left and told her to "sin no more."

Even if a sinner denies his sin, that does not negate our responsibility to treat him with respect and love as we are to even love our enemies. Just a hypothetical thought. Say there is a spirit realm and a divine creator who is good, just, honest, etc. Say not every soul is guaranteed to spend eternity in the spirit realm with the good creator. Say there is a place where the spirits who chose to do bad in life are separated from the good creator. Say this place is called Hell. Wouldn't it be merciful, caring, and compassionate for the good creator to warn spirits about Hell when they still had the chance to choose good?

What happened in our Holy Church that we're preaching and forcing the catholic community to be tolerant against mortal sinners and at the same time the catholic community can't preach REPENT and CONVERSION to the sinner for their own salvation. Our catholic leaders forgot about these two words and are not doing their job. Their job is to denounce and bring sin to the light so the souls can be saved. Why are they not doing that? Dolan says homosexuality is not a sin neither is heterosexuality. Yet the church will bless opposite sex marriages but not homosexual marriage. If we are created in the image and likeness of God then God would have to be bisexual, transexual etc he would have to be all things to his people. Yet he has always been represented as a heterosexual man. So logically anything outside of heterosexuality would not be keeping with his mission. He would have given both male and female reproduction abilities. But he didn't. Im just bringing up some rational thoughts. Doesn't mean i agree with any of this nonsense.

All fine and good, BUT Cardinal Dolan supports lgbt or homosexual groups in public parades some of whom are dressed in sexy clerical gear and these are not celibate forgiven sinners. Ooooooh ok... so what I’m gathering from these comments is that the problem with Christianity IS NOT Christ or his teachings, the problem is the actual Christians! 🤔 A church leader, expert on Christ and the Bible to the best of any possible human understanding, clarifies a long-misunderstood stance on a certain issue and concludes that not only are we not fit to judge what only god can, but that these people are WELCOME into the faith just as they are... and the Christians choose not to believe him. They choose to fixate on one sentence, a piece of advice given by Jesus that IN NO WAY contradicted his lesson in the entire story of the adulterer and IN NO WAY gave permission to persecute someone who commits a victimless crime, because this one sentence allows them to keep their prejudice with a sense righteous justification of it being gods command. So really, it’s THE CHRISTIANS who scare people away from Jesus by dangerously warping his word. Ok. I get it now.
The crux of Christianity is repentance.

Compassion, yes. Tolerance, no. Everyone is welcome only to be told how sinful they are and must repent. The modern Church wants to leave the second part out. We are in the end times people and we are seeing the Apostate church beginning to bloom.
