Paul, pedant here again. Those are not cows! You really are a city boy 😂
I'm fully aware to not try and milk them 😂, have always said moo cows since I was little 😉
@@DubJetAV fair enough
As is jokingly Michael, my mam says when I was little I actually said moo cows and moo horses 😂
@@DubJetAV and why not?
Hi Paul , chaotic at the airport today with low visibility. Why can’t they use our new state of the art north runway in poor visibility but we are able to use (the south one ) . It caused big queues for both landing and taking off. A lot of delays . It’s bizarre to me they close that new runway on days like this when it’s needed most. Can u enlighten me as to why they shut it down. Thanks .
So current low visibility procedures for Dublin Airport are agreed with the IAA. At present LVP can be instigated by a number of factors, singular or combined. Cloud ceiling below I think 1000ft is one of those conditions.
Ceiling today didn't get about 500ft and was as low as 200ft at one point.
They go single runway, as it is something to do with visibility of the missed approach paths or northern runway, and the tower having no line of sight with same
There's a document on the IAA website, which fully details the parameters for LVP
Ok fair enough, so there is a good reason for it , I thought it was the new runway didn’t have the proper low visibility instruments set up yet but it makes sense although causes major back logs , do other major international airports with duel runways have to close one too in similar conditions. Thanks Paul .
I was up around the airport today too and did witness how low the cloud & visibility was , it was nearly as bad as it gets for many hours .
I didnt get to see ☹️
Also im getting the lego concorde delivered within the next 3 days
