Having some success with these fishing for perch in the local canals, especially tied in black and white versions on a size 6 hook. Probably my most successful perch pattern of all. Thanks Davie.
Hi David, It's great to hear that you are fishing this pattern and doing so well on it, it is a great wee fry pattern and as you have found out the Perch love them... Well done.... All the very best Davie
Hi Davie, When I first saw this fly I almost ran to my vice to tie it. Very Nice fry pattern! I fished with it for perch, and I caught a lot perch with it and some big roach(about 30 cm long). Thanks for sharing! Willem(Holland)
Great looking fry pattern! Simple, but looks so effective! Thinking this would be a good alternative to the Woolly Bugger on rivers, with a little weight added.
Hi Davie I am going to try and tie some up to try out on some perch and my be a few small bass and what ever else will eat it. Great looking fly the shape is great.. What size hook did you tie it on a 10 or 12 streamer hook? Thanks for the great videos Chance
Thanks Davie I see you are using wax on the last few patterns. Is this new and what kind do you use? Most supply houses just have the sticky stuff. Cheers Duncan PS since your Tenkara pattern I've invested in a 13 foot ultra light for brook trout. Only used it once before the season closed but it's fun
Hi davie this looks like another killer fly. Only started flytying recently finding it stressful lol. This one looks a bit easier could u also send me the link for the bugbond many thank David from Ireland.

Seemsbso effective! Thanks!
But I really want to know "international rules". You repeated several times. What does it mean?
So is all the rabbit that you use for the tail, and dubbing from a hare's mask? or from some other body part? if so what part?
Excellent Tie!
That hook has great lines, but B175? I thought B175 was a normal shank wet fly hook? Am I missing something?
Bravo
Nice fry pattern Davie . Something i have meant to ask what make of vice is the one your using?
Thanks Davie
