New AutoMeter Invision LCD Dash Displays | PRI Show 2021

- AutoMeter debuts its latest 7000 Invision digital dash for universal installations along side several other new AutoMeter Invision dash applications including 1987-1993 Fox body Mustang, 1969 Chevy Camaro, 1970-1976 Plymouth A-body, and more! The AutoMeter LCD digital dash found in the Invision series includes a 12.3-inch display that is fully programmable for any fuel level sender, any ignition type, and for up to 12 cylinders! The AutoMeter Invision dash includes water temperature and oil pressure sensors, vehicle specific mounting solutions (except for the 7000 Invision digital dash), and wiring. We stopped by the AutoMeter booth at the 2021 PRI show to learn more about these new Invision dash offerings and what applications are currently available.

How in the heck is this not plug and play for LS swaps!!???? You have to add a sender and input for each gauge???? Not very tech.

Why do they always have boring themes for these American made LCD gauges? Why can't they include sci-fi graphics and customizable animations in the user interface format. Oh yeah, I forgot they're only concerned about commercially viable consumer products that target old retired folk. If this was a Japanese product, there would be a half naked Anime Girl dancing for you every time you revved up the engine. That's what the otaku requires in his JDM ride.
Give it time! I'm sure the future is bright for these new digital gauge displays.Who knows, maybe there will be an app to create your own design one day!?

The 3rd gen Camaro was on AutoMeter's list of vehicles of interest. Unfortunately the existing InVision display is too tall to properly fit the 3rd gen dash area. The available area between the steering column and the top of the dash doesn’t leave enough space to fit the display.

Which sensor does it come with? Will it see the fuel and rpm perfrctly? Because right now the fuel on my original dash sometimes work and sometimes does not

Joshua-- Unfortunately the screen will not fit in a 2nd Gen Camaro dash bezel. The steering column intersects too deeply into the dash where the screen would go, for one thing. We can suggest the Direct Fit Kit with AM's analog gauges. Would this fit a 2003 silverado
Hello! This is not a direct fit in a 2003 Silverado. The newest GM truck application is 95-98 in terms of a direct fit. That being said, if you were willing to modify your dash you could make it fit, however you'd also need the Can Bridge adapter through Auto Meter (we don't sell it, unfortunately) and plug it in to your OBDII port. So it's not a straight plug-and-play, but is an option for you!
Would this fit 2005 Chrysler 300?
Hello! Unfortunately no, these won't fit into a Chrysler 300.
I don't see any provisions for a cruise control light,turbo,outside temperature. They thought far enough for high beams and mil light but no cruise.

Hello! Unfortunately AutoMeter doesn't have any applications for a BMW. AutoMeter currently just has displays for domestic muscle cars and a universal screen for custom applications. Thanks!

Unfortunately AutoMeter display panels do not allow for uploading different screens.

Hello! All the direct fit displays from AutoMeter fit domestic cars and trucks only. There's a possibility the universal panel would work, but you would have to see if the dimensions of the panel would match your car. Thanks!

Will this work for a 5th gen camaro
Auto Meter doesn't have any replacement dash solution for the 5th Gen Camaro. That InVision setup is going to be mostly for older cars with analog gauges. They do offer an A-pillar pod for aftermarket gauges and a replacement pod for the factory console gauge pod, but nothing for the main dash cluster.
@@speedwaymotors is this something you guys would consider? I've seen hundreds of comments about ppl looking for something like this for the 5th gen camaro, there's a big market for it. I'd pre order one right this second

@@fahoooooooooooooood1 The AutoMeter Invision dashes only provide warning outputs on the display itself and cannot currently control any external output such as a fan or relay and there is no switch functionality currently built into the dash. Thanks!
