@@CatherineAKennedy exactly! Its extremely embarrassing for anyone to be told no. And he can clearly imagine how terrible she feels. Even if he’s not ready and he’s shocked he should be lifting her up and making her feel better about all this instead of putting her down.

I felt for miles here for once he got upset she was asking him to marry him I get it it’s a shock if an ex does this ! But I do feel Maeve puts Miles in there relationship felt for him for this as for James I am sorry if a man says no to marry you for me it’s done he clearly isn’t ready to get married his in a totally different place than Maeva and I did feel for her after as she clearly loves him but he is in a totally different space !
Of all the times Maeva unnecessarily drags Miles into her drama, I can't fault her for wanting to tell him before proposing to James. As much as I despise Miles, he was her ex and she did love him, so I think Maeva was in the right in letting him know beforehand. And if she didn't tell him, people would find fault in that too and brand her as *selfish* like always, so really, she can't win. Also, I just want to say, that I love James and Maeva together but if they break up and she went back to Miles then I'm not going to watch this show anymore.

they have a long history together and she knows he still has feelings for her, plus they're in the same house (which was her party btw, and she didn't invite him), also maybe she thought it's better he heard it from her than from anyone else.

@@aneeshaarshad4956 she was crying, it’s not ideal for the boyfriend to hear about that.. but it’s normal. She was inlove with Miles they were in a serious relationship. Also - Miles was not supposed to be there.. she didn’t invite him. She never planned to ask the blessing of Miles before she popped the question.. he was there and she did it spontaneously.. to add drama, she’s dramatic, and they’re filming a show.. it’s a great scene and storyline.
