This was so hard to watch. I knew James was gonna say no cause he said over and over he wasn't ready, but I still feel so bad for Maeve. He didn't have to call it "silly."

In James's defence, he did say he didn't wanna get married yet, so I'm not in the slightest bit surprised that he said no. So Maeva should have expected it in a way. I'm glad that James stuck to his guns and didn't just say yes for the sake of it. But at the same time, Maeva handled it really well which is great. Getting married often has little to do with love.
