Problem really is "the portal". The college athletes now are basically pro, or at least semi-pro. There's no allegiance to the schools they supposedly play for. It was also interesting that Schlossnagle mentioned his regard for Augie Garrido. Pierce is the coach Schlossnagle replaces. Weird.
