  • Seen here are Montreal Fire Engine 210 and Ladder 410 responding to a fire alarm call as well as two responses from Engine 210 to unknown calls.
    Engine (2) from Station 10; Autopompe 210 is a 2011 E-One Cyclone II Pumper
    Ladder (4) from Station 10; Echelle 410 is a 2009 E-One Cyclone II 100' rear mount aerial
So we have a "Classic Montreal E-One Duo" based at this firehouse. I personally like this Engine & Ladder type for Montreal the best, even if I'm also a fan of the Spartan Engines in the Montreal-Design. How do you guys like Montreal's fleet?
Fire Station 10 is located in the southern parts of Downtown Montreal. The fire hall houses an Engine and a Ladder Company and responds to about 2,600 calls a year of which are 1,488 medical ones. This makes station 10 one of the medium-busy fire houses in the city. An interesting thing is, that the trucks always have to drive around the block because they have to obey traffic rules. The street they're turning out to, is a one way lane. That is the reason, why I was able to film every response twice! To understand it right, here's an example: goo.gl/maps/Nb...

Ah, always nice when the trucks manage to leave the station almost simultaneously! 😍👏🏼

Fantastic catches Lukas! Interesting that they are not allowed to go against traffic for a shortcut

Thank you, Jimmy! Well, Dirk (rescue911.de) once was at this station and waited on the next intersection to catch 'em en route and then they took the shortcut - so I think it depends on the call. A structure fire with trapped persons is maybe something different, than just a fire alarm... :)
