que joya este video, uno de los mas grandes que jamas volveremos a ver. pero jamas ni siquiera algo parecido. es increible como interpreta y aguanta il maestro di cappella... SIN PALABRAS INHUMANO!!!
He had some technical issues, but he his voice was very charismatic, and he was an incredible communicator, both with his voice and with his body. The man could really act.
This masterpiece is called "Il maestro di Cappella" by Domenico Cimarosa. It's a musical intermezzo of about 15 - 20 minutes. It's composed for a baritone/bass-baritone/bass and the singer imitates the sounds of the musical instruments of a classical orchestra while singing together with them! A true musical chef d'oeuvre!!!

THANK YOU,GREAT BARITON ,R.I.P. MAESTRE GIUSEPPE TADEI...
So great to watch this, Thank you for this gold post,
The Cimarosa selection is a gem. Taddei is delectable.
THERE IS A SAYING.......ITALY GAVE THE WORLD TITO GOBBI.......BUT KEPT GIUSEPPE TADDEI TO ITSELF.!
AND NO WONDER!
He was very popular in Vienna too 😁
The World is poorer for it. Taddei was every bit the star Gobbi was and, in some ways more so.
MARAVILLOSO!!!!
Lo amo. Divino. Magnífica la pianista.
Non ci sono parole. Superlativo.

What technical issues he had?
@@giorgioskaragiannidis8791 Passaggio issues, which led to high note issues. Still one of my favourites.
THE GREATEST ITALIAN BARITONE....
Perhaps not but, he was certainly one of the most outstanding among the many that sang on the opera stages of the world
