If I had to take a guess, maybe they wanted to do zombies but didn't have the budget to make all the kids look like zombies, and red eyes and fangs were just cheaper. Although that does raise the question of why they didn't just switch out zombies with vampires in the script to begin with, but whatever I guess.
Not only did I forget this show, I thought this episode was from Life with Derek, I remember looking for this episode under the assumption it was from LWD and it was Naturally Sadie?!
I'm honestly in the same boat, where I didn't even know this show existed. Now I'm genuinely curious, and want to check this show out. I wonder if I found a hidden gem that got overshadowed by Life with Derek?
The Disney Schedule archives may claim this show aired on the channel in 2005 through 2007 and was paired with life with Derek but I refuse to believe it as I don't remember this show at all. I was very much paying attention to the channel at this time. I would have at least seen some promos. I feel like I'm being gaslit lol
I can't believe they even gave the actors their own wand IDs and appearances in the Express Yourself segments. They never did that for Life with Derek.
