I used to stay at school until 6 pm or 7 pm in normal days for practices or club activities
But if we have events or we are going to prepare for an event then I will stay until 8 or 10
@@Kozmic_CL They were concerned about the time, but having your teachers even visiting your house is apparently fairly common over there (source: my Japanese teacher back in middle school). So being called by your teacher at all where I live (Aus) doesn't happen at all, but it's not that abnormal for them.

EXACTLY. If you think about it that call could have been not from a ghost but maybe a stalker or a temp teacher that was a predator of young girls or something. Or maybe even a criminal hiding out in a school and wanted to stab someone. It's scary when you think of all the human possibilities (aside from a prank) of what that call could have been.

It's weird everywhere in the world, but japan is one of the lowest crime rate in the world so i guest most of them won't immediately assume something sinister if unusual things like that happened

@@adammalloy Depends. You can measure certain crimes that have very little leeway for variation in definition between countries for a general idea. For example, homicide is pretty cut and dry, and using that as a metric, Japan is one of the safest in the world, especially considering population density.
This reminded me lot of those impostor horror stories, they never failed to make me shiver.

Laziness saves lives! For real tho I'm glad they only called the one time and didn't try to contact their home anymore after that as far as we know. It actually may have been a real teacher calling the wrong number in all fairness, but it most likely probably was not. They really should have let the police know about it to be honest. That's something the community at large probably should have been made aware of. I mean who knows if they stopped at just the Botan residency in their pursuit of creepiness. People can be pretty twisted. I'm sure glad Botan stayed home that day.

This is common in Japan. It happens often to class reps and smart students and/or "teacher's pets", as in, the types that would always try to get on a teacher's good side.
Not only in Japan it's almost common in asian countries near the country side or small village where your teacher or the school is just your neighborhood usually during elementary days when there are no curfew yet student reps mostly stays at school until 8 sometimes 10 pm at night special when there are incoming programs that needs preparation

This is the 2nd story I heard from Botan where if she isn't that gamer lazy Lion and approached the man on their door that she thought was a salesman or went to the school for that errand from what they thought was her homeroom teacher then she might really have been in danger..

Yeah. It requires some degree of investment if they were seriously malicious. Getting the phone number of that house and matching with the child resident's name. Probably obtained through camping out and rummaging through the trash for bills, maybe school reports. Also risking blowing it hard if the person picking up immediately recognises that the voice is different.

In Japan things such as "staying late after school hours" is common, BUT, note the big BUT here fellas! Only applies when.
1. It's raining/snowing, hard
2. Some other natural disasters such as earthquakes, quakes are common in Japan.
3. Sports/school festival/camping trip, for this thing to be a thing first the parents or any of the family member got notified BEFOREHAND
Random after hours calls like that especially in 4-5pm is sketchy, not to mention the student just recently returned from school (Japanese schools starts at 9am, closes on 3-4pm depending on the schools)
That call is predictably suspicious and deserves to be red flagged.

It happened to me once during my time in the secondary school. My dad came asking me why did I picked a fight with someone when I didn't do anything anything at. Prank calls that time before there was even an SMS are Trolls of the prehistoric era.

I've got a scary story of my own that I wanna share.
I work at a logistics company located at the outskirts of a small town. To get to the nearest store, you have to cross the highway through an overpass and you'll find a store right on the other side, right at the entrance to the town.
Anyway, the scary thing that happened was that the store was once hit by a drive by while I was there buying some stuff for my lunch break. I almost shit my pants that day.
That's not the only thing that's happened to me at that overpass though. Since I have to cross that overpass every day to get to work, I've sometimes seen trash bags dumped below the overpass, filled with what later turned out to be corpses. Like the time when the bag I'd seen later turned out to be a co-worker. Or the time when a couple was found beheaded and dismembered below the overpass, their bodies on one side of the road and their heads neatly placed next to each other on the other side, with the words "traitor" carved out on their foreheads with a knife. Luckily I called in sick that day.
This is unrelated but there's also a creepy abandoned hotel nearby. Well, it's not really abandoned, I guess. Every year, construction workers come to work on the hotel but they always leave before finishing the project and their progress is really slow. I didn't even know it was supposed to be a hotel until two years ago, when it finally started to take shape.

My family and I had a short vacation to Six Flags and we were in the water park having fun. I was just sitting admiring the horizon of the mountain range of Texas, then I was following the sight of a white hawk near the park. Then it flew in a tree and disappeared without flapping its wings for landing. I wish my eyes were fooling my reality, but I couldn't forget such sight of ghost hawk.

This kind of made me remember my freshman year in highschool. Our geography teacher was giving off seriously weird and bad vibes to us bois and the girls didnt realize cuz he really fucking favoured them. Like he made fun of and downplayed every single boy in his class no matter how good they actually are and praised every single girl even if they dumb as hell. We thought at first he is gay cuz a lot of gay dudes prefer being around women right? But it turned out he had a wife, and me and my best friend were surprised but didnt think much of it. Then he asked if someone wanted to help him for a festival that our school would hold where children would come with their parents to take a look at the school (BTW our school is for kids from 10-18 and all the children would be 9 or something). Me and my best friend gladly helped cuz we could skip out on some of our classes and didnt have to make up for it or write excuses. Anyway, on the day of the festival teach explained what we had to do and walked away and we didnt think much of it. Only later did we have some weird feeling, cuz only adults were around us and all the kids werent there. So I told my friend "I'll look for teach and ask him if we can show him the other room" (other room is just an oven room or some shit) So i walked into a room and saw this man with 8 children no older than 9 and he hugged them while having a really disgusting look on his face. When he saw me he got really pissed off and said he would tell my homeroom teacher I was slacking off for no reason. I walked out of the room and told my friend "I think our teacher might just be a pedophile for real... looking at this schools teachers it probably isnt far fetched to believe that one is actually teaching here" (We have extremely racist teachers, teachers who take drugs with students behind the school, a principle who throws away our belongings or just steals them and many more) and a few days later we heard from a female friend of ours that she helped him alone in a room once. He put a moving table over her face so she wouldnt see anything and told her "Dont get surprised, you will get Leim on your arm haha". When me and my friend heard this we realized something really fucked up just happened... 3 days later Police cars were surrounding our school and later we found out he had 1 fucking Terabyte worth of child porn on a school computer and raped at least 5 children of our school while sexually abusing at least 10.... What an absolutely disgusting piece of garbage.
Also pretty sure my whole country knows of my school and how garbage of a school it is. Been in the top 3 of worst schools in the country for a while but I think with this case we really just took the prize
