      iommi? definitely, ozzy? FUCK NO, that bastard didn't do shit other than get high and do dumb shit on stage, mustaine is also not that much of an influence, i'd replace him with ritchie blackmore honestly

    • @russell2890

      beedo hashish how come mustaine isn't a big influence? He's the most influential person in thrash metal

    • @Alex-ht5ci
      @Alex-ht5ci 6 лет назад +26

      i agree, but you said in thrash, which is but a subgenre of metal, when it comes to guitarists and you have to choose between blackmore and mustaine in the influence of metal you'd have to go for ritchie, because basically, deep purple and black sabbath created metal, and i didn't replace hetfield because metallica had more popularity than megadeth therefore more influence, i'm not saying mustaine is bad at all, i'm just stating the de facto of the situation

      Alex Moreno this is metal, who the fuck cares about the opinions of others and how the interpret a music genre, even if u didnt have any assholes or whatever there will still be cocksuckers who hate the genre anyways. I think the fact that there are negative opinions about metal is what makes metal what it is.

    I have Chuck tattoed on my arm. I have the memorial thing BC Rich did for him, so I have his name and year of birth/death. The reason I do is pretty much because of every interview bit of this Top 10 list. When I discovered Chuck and his music, I was going through maybe the worst time in my life. His views on the world and his positive energy in general were a very crucial part of me getting through that. Hence, I've chosen to wear his name and image for the rest of my life. I feel indebted to him because of just how much he has inspired me as a person. It breaks my heart that I was 7-8 years too late to see Death live and potential meet him and tell him just how grateful I am for his inadvertent guidance. I love you, Chuck. I'm sorry that I may not be how I was back then when I most influenced by you.

He is truly immortal, as we continue to listen to Death, Control Denied, Mantas, and keep spreading his gift to others, for he left us the gift of music to illuminate our paths, to walk this life knowing there are millions of Death fans out there sharing the same emotions we all feel when we hear his music. How funny that his main project was called DEATH, yet all he gave us is LIFE. Rest in eternal peace, brother.

    Talk about how unfair life can be. Chuck was a genuine and amazing person. He loved making music, he loved touring, and was overall a positive guy. People like him is what helps bring this world closer to peace. He was against drugs, was only a social drinker and he went to the gym. (judging by his muscle mass) He maintained self-care and appeared to navigate life successfully. Unfortunately, we lost him to cancer at 34, right in the prime of his life. I wish I was alive at the same time he was, but I'm grateful for the legacy he's left behind that still holds strong today. Rest In Peace, Charles.
