I got 2V (no one else i knew got that answer) bc you were supposed to use the series circuit diagram to get the total resistance and use V=IR to get the p.d of the thermistor
It was 40. Use Ee equation to get the Ee value READ THE QUESTION, it says each, so double 8 to get 16 Since Energy is Conserved, Ee = Ep Then rearrange the GPE equation and Bazinga
Think you're meant to square first then double to get 20m. Thats still reading the question just doubled at a different time. (not doubling at all would have given you 10m)
@@sketion5188 but think about it has to 40 cause we trynna find out total extension of the whole thing so it has to be 8*2 and spring constant stays the same having 2 bungee chords wont double the bringe constant would it....?idk
Edexcel calculations were heaven, they gave us the equations on the paper so we didn't need to search them on the equation sheet and was worth 35 marks (Separate). I guess AQA students got cooked
@@criticaldamage381 no you did 27-12 to get the temp change which was 15. then you had to find the mass so u did the density x volume and then u multiplied that by the specific heat capacity.
What did you guys get?
2.4V or 2V
20m or 40m
I got 2.4V
I got 2.4V and 20 but im fairly sure 2 was right rip
80m
I got 2V (no one else i knew got that answer) bc you were supposed to use the series circuit diagram to get the total resistance and use V=IR to get the p.d of the thermistor

the picture of the static shock lady had me laughing for a full minute 💀 why was she winking
LMAO
that was my form tutor in y9
i genuinely could not stop laughing at it the invigilators were proper staring me down aswell

@@rKaraa HAHAHA I just laughed out loud 😂
wtfff why were their so many conversions and questions with a standard form answer??? ...or am i cooked?
There were, prob to try make it harder
there was, but it was so easy for me lol.
for the one with the standard form answer my calculator already gave it in standard form so i didnt have to convert
@@abysu yh
they had to do that because we have the equation sheet, its just to balance it out
all the maths questions in that paper had me fighting tears in the exam hall - AQA had me rethinking life and everything
Same bro, how tf were we supposed to do the bungee question?
Did you have a calculator with you? If so you just put the questions into it.
There were too many recurring decimal answers bro. Where was the “round to 3sf”????
They wouldnt always say that cause it just immediately indicates that it has to be a decimal original.
@@verozpays1493 Yeah I did that although it was kinda annoying
Actually there was an RPA, it was the resistance of a wire one
i think that person did combined
it was so easy icl no application was required, straight copying from the textbook
Yea like did everyone just forget about that?
It was 2V though I swear 😭
it was dw bout it
yes it was since series circuit so you add up total resistence
yeah
wt exam board n tier
no its 2.4V
this shit was a fever dream legit idk what was happening im ngl 💀cooked
I GOT 96.4KG!!! heavy ahh ring

IT WAS SO HARD. I HATE AQA
Edexcel calculations were heaven, they gave us the equations on the paper so we didn't need to search them on the equation sheet and was worth 35 marks (Separate). I guess AQA students got cooked
I wasn't. Calcs were allowed in the paper so it was so easy.
I did edexcel triple higher and that paper was so good. I found most of it pretty easy and I loved the 6 markers.
it was 2 volts! confirmed by physics teacher at school who writes the paper :DD
tell that physics teacher that the paper they created cooked me so hard 🤗
overall, that test was a blessing

i m scraed for the theory part thats it calc was easy
my physics teacher asked me how it went and i deadass nearly burst into tears it was so bad 😭🙏

yea i got 300000 volts
am i cooked????
I did

i think i did
The physics as paper was so much worse I still haven’t recovered from that shitshow😓😓😓
94.6 kg ring goes so crazy
I just divided it until the asnwer made sense but i dont think it was right

if you dont convert properly how much marks do you lose
not many, if its a 5 marker and you got an answer of 100, but the correct answer was 10, youd get 4/5 marks for correct working
