    As a first aid trained person, by law in some countries we are not aloud to go through a persons phone or purse. Unless a police officer is there to tell you to. Medical alert IDs are super important. We are trained to look for a bracelet. If you have any illness that can cause you to become unable to communicate as Amy said please get one. You never know... my personal issue is I have sever allergies and a heart condition..... if someone was to use a epi pen on me during a reaction my heart would stop. So I am going to order a nice new one from this shop my old one broke..... crappy one that I got from a Canadian government place. Thanks for sharing this Amy! Your awesome as always!

      Becky Clark it’s so hard to get one that’s pretty isn’t it. I honestly don’t wear mine every day because I don’t like it. But you’ve made me think about how important it is. I will be ordering from this company too. Lots of love from the uk xxx

    Really liked this video. I've been thinking about getting some sort of medical alert bracelet. I have chronic illnesses and am on a lot of medication. I think having one if these really pretty bracelets would be something I'd wear, the other ones I've seen are very clinical and not attractive. Xx

    • @amyleefisher52
      @amyleefisher52  6 лет назад +2

      nicola hocking I 100% agree with you! All my past bracelets have been bulky, chunky and just not attractive in any way! I mean I hated wearing mine! When I found Lauren’s Hope I was so excited that I actually found a website that was 1. Affordable and 2. They had such pretty designs that made me actually want to wear a medical ID!
      I honestly can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve had from it 😂 to the untrained eye people don’t even realise it’s a medical ID. It’s fantastic💖💖💖

    Thanks for making this video. I’m looking into getting a new medical ID after the one I had before was pretty much ruined in a car accident. I was looking at getting a MyID medical bracelet, but these are so pretty and less bulky than those so now I’m unsure again haha.

    • @amyleefisher52
      @amyleefisher52  6 лет назад +4

      Elizabeth C. Well tbh with you I had an MyID bracelet prior to the one I had before Lauren’s hope and I just felt they didn’t have much choice on the website and paying the extra to get your information put on an online data base turned out to be a waste of time as the paramedics don’t even log on and check it nor do most doctors for that matter which kinda shocked me. Honestly it’s up to you which you choose I just thought I’d let you know. That was my experience 😊

    Pretty jewelry....not sure if you mentioned it in the video, but you have to add 9.00 if you want premium engraving (dark lettering that shows better) and a 16 dollar engraving fee, as well. The one I was going to get went from 46.00 to 70.00 when it all added up. Just something to consider

    Hi Amy, your make up is on point in this video! Awww, the necklace was such a sweet bonus! I just posted my two very first TY videos a few hours ago. In the "What's in My Bag" video I mention that I have 5 pages of medical info in my purse. I think some people underestimate how important it is to have medical details on you - especially those who are ill. Thank you for spreading awareness for these bracelets! :)

    • @amyleefisher52
      @amyleefisher52  6 лет назад +1

      Incurably Awesome I think it’s so so important and vital to carry around medical information! I mean especially if it’s going to potentially save your life! 🙏🏼 just make sure you have a medical ID or somthing to let people know that the information is in your purse though! 💖

    Thank you for sharing this cause every other medical bracelets I have looked at are so expensive and are not pretty so I chances of me actually wearing it is probably not very high. But these are beautiful and are a very reasonable price.. Thank you for always doing great and truthful reviews.. You look very beautiful in this video!!! Hugs and Love ❤ from Oregon

    I have a medical alert bracelet. I have endometriosis and it causes me to be in pain. I live alone and I’m scared something is going to happen to me. I once had someone make up this lie about me saying it was scars from cutting myself. I’m super confused to this day as to why he would say that.

    Hey beautiful girl!
    These bracelets are so gorgeous! I'm thinking of getting me some. I love rose-gold as well. I'll bet I can even make some attachments myself if I can find the stuff at a Hobby Lobby, Michael's, or even Joanne's fabrics & Crafts cause I love to do some beading as a hobby. It's fun. But I still want to buy some of these bracelets and I won't tamper with them. They're too beautiful! = D

    When I got diagnosed they told me I had to pick out a medical id and I was so upset at first because I didn’t want people to know. I didn’t want to people to see me as different or sick. But now I feel so scared to even leave the house without my id necklace because I’m afraid that if I went out and something happened they wouldn’t know how to treat me.

    Theyre so gorgeous!! Question: I have a medical ID with all of my info on my IPhone (when you click emergency it comes up with a Medical ID), if getting a bracelet, would it better to have a card, or say 'see phone medical id' ? A lot of emergency services will look for the phone ones now. Or if I have this in my phone, do I need a bracelet at all ??

    • @amyleefisher52
      @amyleefisher52  6 лет назад +1

      Rachael Cook I personally have both as in my experience the medical professionals usually check for jewellery first. If I was you I would put the most important information on the bracelet and then put see iPhone for more information or something! 😊 Obviously it’s up to you! That’s just me 💜💜

    • @rachaelcook2994
      @rachaelcook2994 6 лет назад

      Oh okay, If they look do at bracelets more, than I probably shouldn't rely on the phone only! (plus phone may have died haha.) Thanks :) 💖

    • @LaurensHopeMedicalID
      @LaurensHopeMedicalID 6 лет назад +1

      Hi Rachael! That is an excellent question and we're so glad you asked!! We do have people engrave "See iPhone Health Profile" (and variations of that) instead of "See Wallet Card" a lot, but just as Amy said, it's still a great idea to have your most important information on the bracelet as well, just in case it isn't close by. 😊

    Not sure how I feel about this company. I found they don't post negative reviews on their website. I know because I've seen other comments on Yelp and I posted one about a bracelet that I wore for a week and went out with some friends to a few bars for my birthday (it was in a small city outside of NYC, I walked with it from the train to a pizzeria and 3 bars) and it fell off somewhere and could not locate (in the last bar I realized it was gone....went on a hunt for it retracing my steps-and no luck). Now my personal information is somewhere on a city street. Their response was to give me a discount on a new one (which is nice) and to tell me to delete my account because it was a tech id and it was connected to an app with all of my information. My review wasn't even that bad it was about how the bracelet was comfortable but it got dirty fast and to beware the clasp before purchasing because it just fell off and they didn't post it. The bracelet currently has 9 good reviews. And my review is no where to be seen, *which I find deceptive. I'll probably give it another try because they do look nicer than other places. But I don't like that you can't get a full idea of how the bracelets actually are.*

    *Edit: I got my bracelets! With the same chains! I got one plain tag with a white symbol, and one with the pattern with the symbol in red, it boosted my confidence big time as a diabetic cause they’re gorgeous!*
    I’m probably gonna be getting one soon, I love the symbol in white.
    Does the symbol show though? My mother is worried that these won’t look like medical ID bracelets
