I don't have a chronic illness or in fact any illness but love watching you as you are so pretty and amazing as the pain and discomfort you go through everyday and come out smiling is the spirit of a true warrior. I also watch your videos because I find it really educational as no one really tells you about it so I had so many questions. Would you be able to do a video on how to approach/Talk to someone . Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but as someone who knows no one with chronic illness and as a result no one talks about your videos just make me curious and don't want to offend or upset anyone. I also really I could do my makeup like that and look as beautiful as you.
Am i the only one that slightly freaked when she just casually pulled the tube out some?? Lmao i wasn’t expecting you to do it and it caught me off guard! I love your channel so much!
That's what I'm talking bout Girl! You are so brave....i love it when life gives you lemons.... And the lemonade you make is so awesome that you have ever had! Love and respect -***Becky
Ah I knew I remembered you done this video ages ago and I’m about to do my makeup for the first time with my tube tomorrow so I’m so glad you done this you’re awesome and your eyebrows are still on fleek 🙌🏼🙊xxxx
Hey, just wanted to say that I’m enjoying your channel, I don’t have a tube but it’s nice to see that you’re making people’s tube journeys a bit more bearable
I have had an NJ for 6 months now so I have learned how to put makeup on since I love it so much. There are two approaches I use in order to do my face makeup in particular. I tape my tube twice a day to make sure it doesn't shift at all. I use the white, durapore, silk tape at night, and then during the day I use either a duoderm spot or tegaderm with two coats of skin prep, sometimes I use the durapore if I need more stickiness. So I go through put on all my face makeup and get around the tape of my tube, and I do the rest of my makeup. I take off the old tape, use the skin in the area I am taping (two coats of skin prep), and then put the new tape on. I go around the tape with whatever excess I have on my makeup brush being careful not to touch the tape. I am too scared to just leave it hanging so I secure it in some way
Amy you are such a beautiful girl! You are so impressive and I love watching your videos. I do have a chronic illness myself (2 actually). I also have mass cell problems. For the last week I have been having bad flare up a and don't know what they are from. Thank you for sharing your story. I want to share mine but am very afraid of what people would say or look at me. How did you over come worrying if you ever did?
It’s good to have duoderm under the NJ as if protects your skin from the tube rubbing. Fixamol is also really good to hold the tube in place and if you cut them both in an oval shape it prevents them from raising at the edges :)
I've followed you for years and even though I ended up with a GJ initially I've now ended up needing to have a NJ placed and was nervous about the tape the would use but you came to mind. I love doing my makeup so this helps. But I have a question, can you wash your face with the adhesive you use?
you are so pretty and im not just saying that as pitty you realy are stunning, i dont have a feeding tube but i have to live with a hart dissorder and i have 7 defults to the hart and i also have ndocardites. seeing theys videos make me so so happy and make me feel like im not alone and the only one fighting a illness. xxx
Absolutely love this video!! You're amazing!! I have a question also! So you know how when it moves your nose gets runny? It must be hard when you have a head cold! Are you able to stay comfortable with that? Or is it super hard to keep comfortable when having a head cold & a feeding tube. (Sorry for such an odd question 😂💖💕)
Your eyebrows are so perfect omg
Emily Austin Thank you!🙈🙈

You pulling the tube in and out was fascinating, can you feel it moving from the inside as you pull it?
Absolutely love this video!! You're amazing!!

Amanda Rose it's not as bad as you would imagine! It's just like you have an extra runny nose so you just need to blow it more aha 😅
Does it hurt removing or pulling out your tube if it goes in too far?
In Emily's World it doesn't hurt at all just feels alittle weird aha 😅
