Thanks bmc - I'm glad these tutorials are useful to you. I did do all the grades to 8 - but that was a very long time ago now. The keyboard is a Roland RD700SX.
@glosjammer I'm working on getting some of these songs published properly - royalties to the original artist etc - if you can hang on a few weeks they will hopefully be ready.
Thanks saun. Music is packed full of patterns - most of the time it's the same few tricks doing all the work. RUclips will still exist in 5 years and I'll be looking out for your video reply; whether anyone will have a clue what you mean by 'Grandstand' though...?
@DrLoz3 i decided at the start of making the tutorials that I would always call the black notes C# Eb F# Ab and Bb because then they just have one name and I don't have to stop and think.
Hi Paul, Well I've now pretty much learned this piece - and all totally from your Ace tutorial. I don't do the very quick unison twiddles in the 3rd passage as not dextrous enough but it still sounds great on my Kawai baby grand! Also, becasue of the way I've learned it from you (i.e. not from the musci) I can actually play it from memory which is very useful if showing off at someone else's house! Thanks so much and I do hope you can do the same with the Pink Panther. Cheers, Ian
Hi Paul. Thanks do much for this tutorial. I reckon It's just within my capabilities. Could you do a similar one for the Pink Panther because that's my favourite of all your TV themes! Thanks. Ian
Great tutorial Paul! Now then...i've just got to buy a keyboard, spend five years learning the basics and then i should be able to play this tune, ha ha! Will youtube still exist then...?
