As one of the passengers and some beer cans slid out of the truck, I heard the squelch of a loud speaker. "I SUGGEST YOU GET BACK INTO YOUR VEHICLE AND STAY THERE." In my side view mirror, I saw a black & white CHP car behind them. As the light turned green, the pickup got halfway through intersection before the night sky lit up with revolving red lights. @Growe Apair here it's totally illegal to pass on any solid unbroken line or double lines regardless of whether they are yellow or white.
@Growe Apair Guess we’ll be seeing your driving skills in the next video.
@Growe Apair Yes, it is...
@Growe Apair it is 100% illegal to pass a solid yellow in USA, idk where you are from but here it's a big ticket lmao
IMO the best dash cam channel on RUclips, keep up the good work.
Thank you very much!
Love the guy at about 0:45. Points out the faults w/ a quack & a fart, respectively!
was run into 5 times by four wheelers and two semis all said im sorry till the cop showed up then it was my fault and thats when i would show my video to cop, boy did they change their stories
at 14:38 technically it IS a turn lane.....just on the opposite direction haha
Was just thinking how lovely it was to watch these clips when the music at 17:39 chimed in to complete the pleasant feeling.
13:22 All those cars getting caught was so damn satisfying!
I think you mean 12:22 not 13:22?
@@j.howardj I did mean 12:22! Nice catch 👍
4:38 I didn't know technology had come so far, I just always thought that cops had really good eyesight.
Its a new thing. They call it "Pig Vision"
it's both, If you've been a driver for enough years you get pretty good at judging speeds, not to mention if you do it for a job and get to see the radar speed of what you saw then you'll get better at judging too
They have the same in France, and its also reading all license plates of car around to detect stolen car.
Ya that’s crazy like a missle tracking system and it knew the vehicle when it caught up.
@@ThatIrishGuy01 Same with accident investigators. Used to be that you could figure out how fast a vehicle was going by the skid marks on the road. Now with ABS systems it is harder.
Love when these bad drivers don't know that an under cover cop car is just behind them. Brilliant.
It’s great to watch these videos and totally recognize the road on which the situation is occurring. At the 10 minute mark it’s in Colorado Springs. He’s turning onto W Fontanero St from N 31 St. Use those roads all the time to get to Red Rock Open Space.
Thank God karma exist is just funny to watch
2nd driver...passing double lines. The camper was listening to Car Talk, click and clack. Awesome 🤣😂❤️👏
I try to be an easy careful driver ,There are So many Rude ,unskilled drivers. Enjoyed the video, Almost give me PTSD. lol, Later from Texas.
@5:25 See it all day, every day. Stop tailgating in your daily commute. Leave enough room between you and the vehicle in front of you so that any vehicle needing to can merge safely. They aren't cutting you off. You are driving dangerously.
As for the fender bender, that driver did turn out to be a moron.
2:19 You would never knew that Mustang GT was an undercover police car.
The bike said fuck that when he saw the lights, a Mustang GT is a little harder to lose sight of than a big ass dodge Charger
@Millennial Honkey89 why? You doing something illegal then you're doing something illegal, the police car, undercover or not, isn't responsible for your shitty choices.
@Millennial Honkey89 also, it depends on the state whether the markings are required or not.
That mustang wouldve gotten smoked. Top speed 150 with the limiter.
in south carolina you would
"Oh god i love it", couldn't agree with you more old boy.
woah niceee, i was just at that part ^^
with the Radar Cop right?
Bros laugh at 6:30 😂 that’s so wholesome
5:48
OMG that Mustang GT at 2:20. I wonder what the police interceptor package is on one of those things.
bet it is not the best but am sure it is not the stock package.
Great video to educate everyone
Love how all the wrong doings are explained ..law wise.....
👍
3:24 That's amazing footage from back in 1941, must have been a big job colourising it all. Crazy how old-fashioned all the vehicles look compared to today!
Leave the Karma business to the Karma guys. Its such a joy watching them doing their job.
the tailgater getting stuck on the ladder was my favorite
Blastergasm… the fact you listen to Rachael Maddow is all I need to know haha.
I once got pulled over by a police officer because, and I quote, "I heard you raced a corvette in this pickup at this here light about a week ago."
My heart fucking stopped for a full six seconds until he said "damn impressive, just keep it to the (drag) strip from here on ok?"
oh the undercover mustang. oh guys I think I lost 😍
Haha, I liked the, "Rut Roh, radar cop" LMAO
@ 12:25 Driving in rush-hour traffic, just part of life. Seeing six cops NAIL six deuce-bags using the emergency lane like their personal, private driveway = PRICELESS!! BEST section of video I've watched in decades!
I hope they yanked ALL of their licenses.
Watching a lot of these videos has made me a much safer driver.
Good on ya! It's made me never drive again!
@@dudeonbike800 Yeah I can see why.
I've watched a lot of karma vids but the one with the ladder stuck in the wheel is pure 😘
At 6:36 when he starts laughing .... I'm over here 😂😂😂
@8:00 gotta love those truck "brake check" cams where you can obviously see the trucker (lorry driver in this case, same thing though) come off the brakes just before impacting the rear of another a**hole. Pitching of the cab gives away the fact you released the brakes buddy.
5:35 In these times, even if posted a while back or dated ages ago, it is good to see people with a good sense of humour and are able to enjoy the little things ;)
Many thanks to the police officers who send in there videos, under paid and overworked
Respect!!!
I can't work out who's in the fast lane half of the time because you all drive on the opposite side of the road. To me everybody was driving crazy! 🤪
@Brian Landers I'm from the UK so the USA driving looks strange to me
8:21 Thank goodness you had a dash cam.
I have one. It has saved me as well as me witnessing many accidents all of which the victims and police thanked me for sharing the videos. 3 months ago I caught a hit and run to some sweet parents. The police came to my house to pick up a copy. The guy once seeing the video plead guilty well his lawyer did...lol I have one for my motorcycle helmet too..It eliminates any he said, she said as well to prove to your own Insurance co that it unavoidable so they can't cause you % of risk. Yes they will do that. If they can say 10% was your responsibility they will pay less.
9:11 damn that driver is lucky to not get pulled over. I have seen in some places that honking in the school or hospital zone is an offense
1:23 that reminds me one time when I was on interstate 70, and a woman got stopped for going 85 in a 70 by cop in the median (not sure how she even missed him, he was plain as day!), then about a half hour later she comes buzzing down the interstate probably going good 120- probably to make up for the time lost by the ticket!
Thank you for providing explanations to some of these video. Despite the video, it normally can sometimes be difficult to tell exactly what's going on... So, to that end - We appreciate you !!
Seeing the line of cars getting tickets that drove on the shoulder was great. Cant stand those people
I typically have sympathy for people being pulled over. I mean, after all, we've all done something at some point that SHOULD have resulted in a ticket but didn't. but when it comes to these people who do stupid shit like driving down the emergency lane to get a few cars ahead or pass cars in oncoming lanes, I have no sympathy.
I have no sympathy at all. If someone has been pulled over its probably because they deserve it. More likely it's a case of they finally got caught. That being said, yes, we have all done something that should have resulted in a ticket but some people just become habitually bad drivers that do dumb shit all the time.
@@MajorBunghole exactly 💯% right! In our city there is a lady who had dozens and dozens of tickets. She never learned, even lost her license. Guess who was pulled over for speeding not even a week later? Yup...her with no driver's license. Some ppl just don't give a damn and screw everyone else on the road!?!
@@angeldreams2307 I'll hazard a guess 👍
@@angeldreams2307 I read recently if a person has lost her or his license in the UK the car could be impounded. It would be nice if it was since where I live in the USA many people lose their driver's license but continue to drive. Losing the vehicle is a great way to control the idjits who insist on continuing to drive.
@@angeldreams2307 you wouldn't happen to be in Sault Ste Marie, Canada by any chance. I saw a TV program called, ' The worst drivers, or something similar. On one of them a lady was so bad and had a health issue that resulted in them revoking her license. In the dismissal interview she stated that it didn't matter. She would continue to drive her grandchildren around. Just wondering if you might be talking about the same woman. Pax
I love these keep them coming...
Thank you!!
I will :-)
It's like the shows about dash cams on TV but without the annoying commentator and adverts every 5 minutes.
I like :D
The sound effects are gold.
A few years ago, I hit a step ladder in my Dodge Charger doing 75MPH. There was no warning and it was unavoidable. It fell out of a truck ahead of me that hadn't tied it secured it. The damage was mostly scuffing, but the metal hinge that connected the front and back of the ladder was imbedded in my lower fender. The driver never stopped, but another motorist stopped to check on me.
14:00. Multiple cars using the emergency lane and I’m thinking that they can’t pull them all over. I was wrong. ha ha
Kudos to the guy recording the second video for listening to Car Talk while filming a bad driver.
I miss Car Talk. Very funny but I learned a lot about troubleshooting a vehicle. I know one of the brothers is gone and the other had dementia.
@@Harry-zz2oh Tom had dementia brought on by Alzheimer's and passed away some years ago, which effectively ended the show and prompted NPR stations to start rolling reruns and Best-Of compilations. Ray is, for now, still going strong.
My dad and I enjoyed Car Talk when driving places on Saturday morning, usually to and from the site of an old, dead tree that we had cut down somewhere for firewood (the neighbors appreciated the free arborist services, and our house was dependent on wood fires to heat the house in the winter). Most of the time, something on the show elicited roars of laughter from us both, and at the time I was in middle school or high school; most people thought it strange that I grasped the self-deprecating humor of the Magliozzis.
For my dad, listening to Car Talk has allowed him an avenue to talk about cars and car repair and the automotive industry in general with me or anyone else; his father owned a NAPA Auto Parts store in Michigan where my dad would work during the summer between semesters at university. Ever since, my dad has continued to keep a finger on the pulse of the automotive industry, and my time as a professional driver for American Tire Distributors has become a new avenue for him to relate with me about something that he's gained quite a lot of knowledge about.
My dad's almost retired now, and I imagine that his time in his woodshop and garage will involve listening to the radio quite a bit while he shapes lumber into furniture. That's been the case whenever I've had the chance to visit so far...and we both make sure not to run the saws during the show, and of course, we talk about cars and car repair subjects quite a bit while laughing at "Stump the Chumps!".
Stay safe wherever you are, and remember, don't drive like my brother!
Awrrryt!,,click and clack ,..Tom and Ray the brothers from car talk @1:20...how Kool is that.
11:50 is right off of I-81 Exit 407 in the vicinity of Kodak, TN. This exit is best known for as the exit for Bass Pro Shops, an indoor flea market, and the exit for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and several large tourist traps that don't need to be advertised.
The 2nd clip had “Car Talk” on the radio the whole time 0:45-1:45! I loved Tom and Ray Magliozzi, also known as "Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers".
I'm convinced some people just shouldn't drive.
Don't get me started on this. When did people get so lazy about traffic laws? Or did they get a free license? AND no they don't own ANY road!!
If you see Hazard Lights...
There's a
*hazard*
I thought they were party lights
13:42 Very nice advice!
I'll make sure there are THREE police cars watching me ;)
@ 16:15 it’s by my house and I feel like it was the best one because Of the music haha 😂 and the fact that not enough morons get pulled over in LA 🤘🏽🇺🇸🤘🏽
Thank you so much. This make my day!
I love it when tailgaters or speeders overtake me, then get pulled over. I'm always sure to give them a little toot-toot on my horn as I go on my way.
Sometimes i'm afraid I'll get through one of these without someone illegally/dangerously pulling out their phone to record someone being slightly more dangerous...took almost 12 minutes this time but we got it!
1:07 Hey it's Click & Clack! Tom Magliozzi can't mistake that laugh.
Guy in the Ferrari: Do you know who I am?
Cop: Yes, the guy with an expensive speeding ticket.
At the 4:50 mark the cop was using LiDAR through the front windshield. Easily beatable in court as LiDAR isn't accurate through glass, especially windshield glass. Glass has a refractive index of 1.52.
and yet the speeder would still lose.
back in the 70s setting at a stop sign with state trooper behind me a woman hit me head on and then accused me of not moving when she turn. btw pushed me back into squad car as well..cop smiled at her and asked me why I didn't turn. told him was waiting for her to pass before going since was going way she came from. he cited her and also had her license revoked
Question! If your camera catches something, & no one else noticed, do you have to report it?
If its a normal thing ,then no need.
But if its a thing like hit and run /roadrage then it should be reported.
@@RevItUp01 Not a camer! FYI! But in case I do one day, it's good to know that!
1:10 listing to car talk. Man had class
AHAH at 9:55 that's not even a patrol cop. That's a detective in that fusion. He was probably on his way home from work. Badddd day if you piss a detective off enough to make him pull you over
lollll same for 16:45 that's another fusion
I noticed that in several videos that people are hogging the left lane in light traffic. LEFT LANE IS FOR PASSING. It does not matter what the speed limit is. Move over or don't drive on freeways.
HOLY cow that cop after that truck that passed two vehicles on a double yellow. The truck had almost no margin for error at that speed but the cop had a blind curve on top of it. He must have had brass ones.
In Northern Virginia, there is very little police presence on the road, and few if any unmarked police cars. Northern Virginian's have taken this as cart blanch to pass on double yellow lines, speed 20 over the limit and not bother with turn signals.
Years ago while driving a back street in South Daytona, FL I was approaching a school zone (posted 15MPH with flashing light to indicate the school zone was in effect). I slowed to ~~10 to 15 (speedo wasn't to accurate at such slow speeds) and this idiot in a small sports car goes flying past me. As he does so a cop jumps out of the bushes and points him to the shoulder. I hit the brakes and froze and the cop waves me through while his partner went to the other car to give a ticket...
