  • NOTE: The last scene was in Chester, SC. Forgot to Add a caption for that scene.
Here on the NS R-Line north of Columbia on this rainy day, we see NS 237 making his way through a few different towns on a rerouted trip. Usually a W-Line train, but due to a flood washout, all W-Line traffic was routed up the R-Line towards Charlotte and south down the main towards Spartanburg. This was one of the very rare moments of getting to chase a rerouted train as this doesn’t happen much at all. Not to also mention, he had NS 4000 trailing 3rd in the lashup which made this chase all worth the while.
Starting off at the South end of Simpson near Ridgeway, I would catch 237 charging northbound catching him again in Cornwell before finally ending in Chester, SC. As always, enjoy!
