I really like watching all your various recipes, especially the tastings. I wonder if you have a "top 3" of all the recipes you have made. I often find it difficult to know what to make next with so many recipes being available. Which ones are wines/meads you would go back to a second time?
I've noticed you've lately been using bread yeast instead of the wine yeast and you've been using more sugar/honey, starting with a higher gravity. Did you change your process intentionally, perhaps so as to avoid the back-sweetening and pasteurization?
I've been having good success with bread yeast lately, and plan to create a bread yeast playlist so I needed a few more videos to bolster that catagory.
@@DIYFermentation oh...ok. I got a special nutrient for it already I bought so I will skip that but I am following this recipe right now. Just waiting for it to cool down. I almost decided to add strawberries too. I might try that next. This will be the third brew I have ever done. My first two were a mead and a cranberry cinnamon mead. Second one not that great.
My son wants me to brew up that one! Thanks for sharing, Charles.

I was beginning to wonder the same thing, thanks for asking
boiling yeast will kill it.
So why add it to the boiling water?
It will act as a yeast nutrient for the wine yeast.
