Totally overlooked track. It's definitely one of my all time favorites by Happy Mondays. The Peel Session's and Lost Angels Soundtrack all have outstanding different mix versions. LOVE THIS TRACK!
Was at the gig. Great stuff.....to think only 2-3 years previous I'd seen em with 15 other peeps in St Helens. Great times and thanx to the likes of RUclips my memories blurry or not will always be there.
this is about the time i 1st heard 'em here in nebraska...was on a plane a few months later 2 see 'em in n.y.c.! never since has any sound had such an impact....many house parties fueled by the mondays
That, my friend, is me!! My daughter (14) says I can only "dance" one way and thats a fusion between Bez and Ian Brown!! I always tell her, as she listens to ne-yo, and all that nonsense, that she will never know what she missed. And for the music and vibe at the time thats a shame...... But as a father..... I'm glad in a way she missed the "hazy" days of Acid House / Madchester........ unbelievable times!!
@bobmorrice Absolutely bang on. Still to this day i tell people that weren't fans either back then or now then entry level way to appreciate the band is to listen to the bass. That's the starting point. Paul is so good it's sacrilege he's not given more credit. Once you're tuned in you hear ,the drums lead guitar all add more and then frankly, Shaun can sing whatever the fuck lyrics he likes over the top because it's all about the groove. Fools just see them as E's and Bez dancing.
@andymac1873 i so wish id been at this gig, me, my brother, and mates used to put the video of this on before we went round town, awsome days!!, i didnt see mondays till they played the vicky hall in stoke, back in 1992, on the stinkin thinkin tour. Im 43 now and still love all madchester stuff, i saw shaun, with charlatans at manc appollo, last year. Rave on!!!! 88-92 top fucken years!!!
@ctidcarl Tell me about it mate! The first time I felt old was 2 years ago (I was 33 at the time), when my mate's 18-year-old daughter told me I 'danced like a 90s raver' to this tune.
pretty lame reason..i think whomever who'd be fan enough to like this and buy the tape wouldn't mind whether it's on youtube or not..but thanks for posting, atleast
Paul Ryder is class, his bass playing is great yet so effortless, couldn't even be arsed taking his jacket off.
If there’s a more badass bass player, I’m unaware of him
rip paul :(
@@hippriest9448 Tina Weymouth comes a close second.
The best.

This was ripped from my video tape.
The screen title is there as I wanted to sell the video tape and didn't want people just ripping it from youtube.
