Roland TD-02K, MIDI Recording: 'Scissor Run' Drums

Four songs down, just one to go...for JTJ EP#3's drums!
'Scissor Run' was one of the hardest, mainly because of the bass drum work, captured with the TD-02K 'sewing machine' style pedal. About 90% of what you hear is unedited, but with the best will in the world, it's just not the same as using a kick drum pedal against a bass drum head. Again recorded to a click (115bpm). I'm sure some tweaking will be made for the final recorded version, but tbh not a great deal. We're trying to keep it as authentic as possible...no quantising allowed! What you hear on the video is some occasional crash cymbal moving (to remove obvious flams with bass drum) a couple of bass drum repairs, and some velocity editing to get the balance of the kit closer to the final version.
