One of the best representation of Bratislava i saw on tube. Shame that you did not went a bit further along Danube. Just a bit and you would found pebble beaches and nice open areas just for yourself. But as long as i know you are the only one to do trek along Danube on such video.
You know I really appreciate that. I’m trying to go beyond what I normally see people doing on RUclips in these cities and do as much as I can with the time I have. Which direction is the beach, east or west?
@@travelbookpro there are small beaches both sides (west and east) locals go there definitely like you mentioned on bicycles or even cars. Further you go more you find. I prefer east hence I have been there more. But best is to take kayak and discover even dead branches of Danube which are Amazon alike. From May till late September if weather allows it. Thanks that you do more. When I travel I do not follow traditional touristic behaviour. I prefer this more hippie stile you go where you like. That way you find things only locals know. Small little treasures. Thx to videos like yours I could see what is place really about.
Interesting wander around Bratislava which I guess is not on the usual tourist trail.. I knew the city was close to Austria, but I hadn't realised it lies right on the border (just checked the map). Enjoyed your commentary. Wearing hats in churches is a reprimandable offence, always confuses me since visitors to mosques are required to cover up. I suppose we mustn't upset the people who run these places.
Yes I think they are the closest capital cities if I’m not mistaken! The guy was very polite about my hat and even saw it as educating me. I guess he realises that not everyone knows these customs and see no reason to get upset about it. Now I just take my hat off in every church just to be safe. Thank you for tuning in!
@@travelbookpro The source is in the Black Forest in Germany. To you, maybe. It makes total sense to me unfortunately. I have dyslexia so stuff like that messes with my head. I learned Bratislava and Slovakia at the same time so those two words get confused from time to time. Even numbers and letters get mixed up in my head! Anyway. Don’t get too upset with things like that. It’s more concerning that it would bother you than if someone mispronounces a word. Im sure you’re not perfect? Thanks for watching!
Lots of new people watching this video. Tell me what brought you here! Are you thinking of travelling to Bratislava?
yes, thank you

Have you been to Bratislava??
Yeah
How did you enjoy it?
I don't remember it was 4 years ago
@@nexus5221 then it’s time to go again!
I live in Bratislava for more than a year, nothing much to see comparing to other capital cities.
That’s for review 🙂

Bratislavia? Geez.
Haha. I still keep saying it! I think it’s because it’s in SlovaKIA!
