The mentioned castles and places are nice. I recommend to add: A) From castles: Cachtice, Beckov (West Slovakia), Zborov (East Slovakia) and very beautiful castle Krasna Horka (but the castle is being reconstructed after the fire presently), B) Magical caverns (fine in hot days): Domica, Jasovska, Gombasecka (in Slovak Karst), Jaskyna Slobody (Low Tatras), Belianska (Belianske Tatras), C) Small historical towns: Banska Stiavnica (interestig town castles), Bardejov, Levoca, Kezmarok (nice town castle). D) and another mountains beside High Tatras (Big and Small Fatra, Slovak Karst, Slovak Paradise, Orava's mountains)
We went to Bratislava around Christmas a few years ago and loved it. Looks like we need to go back during warmer weather to see the beautiful countryside.
Don´t miss small town in the heart of Slovakia called Banská Štiavnica. It is problably most famous historical city in Slovakia and you don´t ment it. Banská Štiavnica had largest historical centre and it is situated in the midle of Štiavnica hills. There is plenty of atraction around on countryside such as small lakes, turist and bike trails, and hills like Stino.
This was beautifully put together. I wouldnt mind if the footage of the individual places was longer to truly appreciate it. I have never known Slovakia was this beautiful, well magical. Thank you for this video. Superb. I can also recommend Smolenice castle only about an hour's drive from Bratislava. Another smaller but spectacular place.
I would love to visit this country its beautiful ❤

come you are welcome :) just dont visit only one place like Bratislava... if you love hiking, history, castles, caves, folk art/festival you can find many things here :) or just beer, alcohol and food
Was in Bratislava & Potruden Aug of last year 🥰 Booked a lavender colored, pretty tiny house in a the small town of Potruden which is located 4 hrs away from Bratislava
A passing mention of the countryside? No mention of 500 hot springs, Bardejov, Poprov, the Iron Curtain bike route, and national parks?? Should be my favorite 8 castles. The first a in Slovak is short, not British flat. And the adjective is "Slovak" not Slovakian.
And you didn't even stumble on the most beautiful place in Slovakia. It is sad that you find Trnava more attractive than Košice with the most beautiful cathedral in Slovakia, St. Elizabeth!
I'm sad that no travel video, not even yours, shows anything from the eastern part of Slovakia. There is beautiful wild nature, places and villages not devastated by tourists, a single primeval forest, a lake in the mountains, an extinct volcano and the most beautiful city in Slovakia. Don't make videos if you don't know how
All "a's" are soft in the Slovak language. Also, most words begin with the accent on the first syllable, as in BRAti slava, not. Brati SLAVA! Their is no such word as Slovakians, we are Slovaks. From a Slovak.
Slovakia will be leading the same direction as Hungary. They stopped arms supply to Ukraine, what a shame. Putin and russia are happy. Europe and Poland should start boycotting this country.
Hey folks! A taste of Slovakia!! If your into castles then Slovakia has to be on your list of destinations! So who’s been and where exactly ??
