Longest wo oil change. 4500 miles..
Anytime I buy a car , first thing I change is the oil, plugs, fuel filter..
    Cheap n easy to do...

Yeah I did the spark plugs, fuel filter, coil pack, brakes, and a whole bunch of other stuff but the oil change never happened 😂

Hey Christian, don't forget to ch3ck the oil one more time. The filter was empty when you put it on or did you fill the filter before you put it on ?

Chris do you happen to know if the mk2/mk3 golf heater core/radiator would fit in a mk4 golf? They look the same and I found a full aluminium aftermarket one that I plan to retro fit but don't have the two radiators to compare them side by side. If you've had the chance to see or compare I'd greatly appreciate it since it's a pain to get those off when in the car

I have two cars and they get new oil every year, it is certainly necessary if you fill up with E10.... I always fill my petrol car with E5, and the other one is a diesel

I had a weird issue with my new all season tires i had on my mk2 195/45 16 on 9 inch wheels as soon as it got below 0 degrees C they would just randomly lose all air, leak around the bead i then gave it some tire foam and plenty of pressure and that tire lasted the rest of the cold season. But only one week after the first one leaked the other new tire did the same again i fixed it with foam and it lasted the rest of the season. But next winter as soon as the temperature dropped they both started again and would only last for a short amount of time at a time. I had to buy new tires 205/45 16 all round, the rear tires were from 12 so they were in desperate need of a change. and so far this winter they haven't leaked. But ofc that's not your problem in Florida

Having tire issues is like one of the most frustrating things I feel like. Because there’s not much to it and sometimes they just don’t wanna tire 🥲

I bought a Subaru legacy for a dollar that was rolled. Drove it for years only adding oil. It was the car i drove to the top of the pass for the hand off to the the ex when we had joint custody. Literally ten's of thousands of miles, not really sure. I gave it to a friend when he got out of prison so he had wheels. I told him to not change it, just add. He didn't listen and after having it for a while he changed the oil, it died a few months later.

Liqui molly bad oil //// This oil has lost its quality as it was 10-15 years ago. I have mk2 and I use 5w40 and my mileage is higher than yours, over 650k/km (maybe over).
This is an erroneous concept; if the car has driven more than 300-400 thousand km, you need to fill it with 10w40 viscosity!!!
    U have 289,682km mileage..
