You're entitled to your opinion but that's borderline crazy, I don't mean that in a nasty way at all so please don't be offended. Your theory is fun and interesting but very unlikely as it doesn't explain sonar contact, land based sightings where impressions have be left and disturbances/wakes on the Loch. Like a blip on the matrix computer ? Ive wondered the same thing . He wasn’t. He filmed a real animal. The JARIC analysis concluded as much. Dinsdale’s film does show a portion of the animal above the water, and behind that, the shadow, mostly underwater, of the large wide BODY, probably with extremities (fins or legs). The JARIC analysis did its best to measure what was above the water, and does not address the visible shadow behind the “hump” cruising above the surface. Study a decent copy of the Dinsdale film repeatedly and you will see much.

A single creature cannot survive for hundreds of years so a breeding tribe/school/ pod etc would be needed to continue and sightings should be more prevelent. Whatever this huge creature is , loch Ness is not it's home. This thing and others like him are just visitors. There should be a connection with ocean from underwater. according to map ( Google source) - At the northern end of lake , there is the Bona Narrows which opens out into Loch Dochfour, which feeds the River Ness and a further section of canal to Inverness, ultimately leading to the North Sea via the Moray Firth.
Now that virtually everyone carries a high-quality camera with them virtually all the time, the number of recorded images should be greatly increasing. Same for UFOs.
Swim safely near the bank, plenty of beaches to go to as well. Take a buoy with you. If you're cold wear a wetsuit, there aren't many places in Britain where you can swim without anyway, unless you are used to cold water. If you are respectful of the waters and safe it is a stunning place to swim in.
I don't understand why they don't just simplify the question of whether a monster exists or not by calculating if there is a large enough food supply to sustain something that size for so long in the lake?
They've done that, and the result is that there aren't enough fish in the Loch to keep something of that size alive, not to mention a breeding population..
@@Ddgi-u73 Yeah, exactly. They have done that. Spot on. The consumption pyramid (or whatever the name is) doesn't have enough at bottom to feed a predator at top.

Let's wait & see. During the lockdowns of 2020 & 2021 without any or very few (noisy) boats or ppl on the water the critters must have felt more free than ever. It's likely someone secretly got good footage, so once over the fear of fines from breaking curfew they may release this footage💛 I do hope these beautiful creatures remain forever free❤️
Science Fiction Channel had a movie with same theory about it being all the same creature travels thru underwater caves into deep lakes and deep rivers all across the world and that's why creature has never been caught. Don't let them catch you creature they'll hurt you.
Now, IF there was one of these in the loch at a time in the past. Where are it's bones? Seeing that the lake is a fresh water lake, wouldn't the bones still be there, or not? But, since it's been thousands of years since these existed, the probability of finding any bones is about like finding a 4 leaf clover. Not likely that any of these still exist. Not here anyway, not enough food and the water is too cold.
I visited the loch two years ago and loved the mystery but it's great for tourists! Why do documentary keep showing the famous surgeons photo that's is a hoax as a proof. I hate reenact especially when the woman hear just a noise and ran in the house for nothing, how's that a witness?
What if just what if that monster had actually swam up out of water unexpectedly while they on boat, they all be scared out their witts and boat would turn ova, they be all dead, never take a chance to see unknown, humans needs stay away let the monsters be.
I don't think a lot of the people who claim to have seen it are telling the truth after listening to what they say. Some "eye witnesses" claim its this or that big, has flippers or 3 toed feet...., and some claim to be so shaken up that they continue to go near the water when they stated in interview that they're keeping their distance
You have been 'primed'. I think that is what it is called in psychology. It is a normal reaction when you go to a loch that is 'supposed' to have a monster in it. Going into a house reputed to be 'haunted' feels different than going into a house without such a reputation. QED
If I put 1 orca in that lake...it would be clearly seen hundreds of times per year on camera, given the amount of tourism. Yet, some how a creature 10 times the size of an orca has never been seen on camera ever.
They've found dinosaur bones, supposedly millions of years old, that still have tendons intact and still have blood vessels intact. In short, they're not millions of years old. I believe it's "possible" that "Nessie" could be real. Look at the "legends" of knights going off to slay dragons in Medieval Times. I'm sure there are some embellishments in those stories but, I think there's SOME truth behind the legends. If those stories are true, the Loch Ness Monster COULD be true as well. Just a thought.
You are incorrect. You underestimate the ability of location, positioning, covering, surroundings, etc and the roles such things play in protecting and "freezing" such things in time, untouched by humans and unmolested by animals. You also might be a bit overly credible. When you have held a supple "dinosaur tendon" in your hands and carbon dated it, then there will be something to discuss. Add to this that there are eels in the Loch, and possibly even oarfish (please go look up a photo of that and you'll see what I mean), and you'll see that the likelihood of a monster in the Loch is very low indeed. I don't grudge the locals their tourist dollars. But come on.

Queensbridge N.Y '2 Sydney `Oz Solid salute 4 this Loch ness documentary☝🏼💎💖💛💐🌉💫
A breeding population has to be around a few hundred living individuals. There is no way a few hundred giant monsters live in that small area without being credibly seen all the time. There is also no way that just ONE individual has lived there for thousands of years.
Hmm.. by the graphic. I always thought of Nessie to be a sort of lovable Plesiosaur type cryptid. Never once did I imagine her with with sharp teeth and dangerous.
The Mystery of Loch Ness is going to turn into The Legend of Steve!
Has anyone ever tried to use cheese for bait? I heard they love cheese 🧀
Fu realz mein 😅
We all know how Sheogorath feels about cheese 🧀🧀
lol
I have always thought in the back of my mind cheese and onions. Do I have to spell it out?
@@indy_go_blue6048 imagine a slow moving vessel pouring warm nacho cheese from a hot vat into the lake as they sail. Occasionally throw in some chips and onions. It would be irresistible to any monster to ignore!
When the show keep flashing the "Surgeon's photograph", it's clear they deny the true state of the evidence.
The surgeon’s photograph was a fake. Any show that shows it immediately fails for credibility. If they can’t even do that tiny bit of research, don’t watch.
I agree with guitarista67, opening with a PROVEN fake image, is not very credible. Notice the wakes compared to the alleged creature. Those wakes would have to be huge!
@@guitarista67 It's impossible to separate the image from Loch Ness, yeah it's a fake but it's actually a beautiful wee photo and world famous. I do agree with you though!
Have you heard cryptozoologists Loren Coleman challenge on the fake? It's pretty poor and weak. Apparently according to him the materials used to create the model didn't exist back then, therefore it's impossible to be a hoax. REALLY!! The pyramids were built without today's technology and look at it now, it's still standing. Cryptozoology would gain more credit if individuals used logic!
@@TeamLNENo, cryptozoology wouldn't exist if they used logic and reason.
@@simpsonmark Interesting. Part of me would agree with you but I think that everyone including cryptozoologists should and must apply logic and reasoning when these studies are being carried out. It's not a bad thing in my eyes.
32:35 that 'flipper' photo is 'enhanced' beyond recognition. It looks nothing like the original. It's known to be a fraud.
I definetly believe the man encountered some unknown giant creature.
@@anubusx I don't.
The notion that something huge would be living in a LAKE, all ALONE, and with not enough of a food source to maintain it is ridiculous.
food source? Loads of fish in Lochs. But yeah I still think its nonsense.
Loch Ness is 600 feet deep, and the water is murky with peat. Plenty of food. And whatever is there presumably would not be all alone. There have been several believable suggestions as to what keeps being seen there.
A theory goes that it can come and go as it pleases because the loch is connected to the sea
They should just drain the loch.
@@VioletAutumn- it cannot. seals yes, i giant monster that needs to breathe air every 20 minutes no. not without being seen.
Sounds like George Edwards was trying to do a Sean Connery impression.
St. Columba at 7:57 looks like the professor from the Morag documentary!!
23:18 has telescope that can "see craters on the moon", but yet can't make out Nessie WHICH IS MUCH MUCH MUCH CLOSER!
Its not a flesh and blood creature.
I believe when people see it, they are seeing a glimpse of something from the past, like a time slip. People are definitley seeing something but it's not physical, that's why it can't be found
You're entitled to your opinion but that's borderline crazy, I don't mean that in a nasty way at all so please don't be offended. Your theory is fun and interesting but very unlikely as it doesn't explain sonar contact, land based sightings where impressions have be left and disturbances/wakes on the Loch. If this creature isn't physical then how would you explain it's impact on the environment?
Like a blip on the matrix computer ? Ive wondered the same thing . How do you recount a soldier in Vietnam from NY who saw Roman soldiers marching Past him in the heat of battle and he had no idea who they were but later he learned that they were Roman legionaries.
He basically said he didn’t know who they were at the time but later he learned that by what we know Roman soldiers were dressed like back then it was what he saw …. I think the timelines rub parallel to ours and sometimes the computer blips and we see the past or the future .
@@panchopistola8298 there's also a theory about the amount of granite present in Loch Ness that could act as some sort of power that enables these things to take place
@@panchopistola8298 I think because he was in the heat of battle that's perhaps why he seen this image. Warfare, PTSD and stress can cause serious hallucinations. The human mind is extremely sensitive and fragile especially in those situations.
Again its your opinion and theory but I completely disagree with you. What individuals are seeing is a creature that is very much alive and present.
@@barriedavison7791 Wow! I've heard it all now 😂 Barrie, I like a good laugh but are you being serious? Can you please share a link to where this theory comes from? I'm interested now!
*The 1960 Tim Dinsdale film is REAL, by the way* , and he filmed a motorboat after filming his aquatic animal - SPECIFICALLY as a control, as Dinsdale was an engineer - and most people who “examine” the film on RUclips misidentify the boat, thinking that Dinsdale was dim or something.
Rodd Matsui
IF there’s ONE, and it’s an animal, then there’s more than one. It’s a breeding colony of the things. Either that or it’s one animal that has been alive for multiple centuries, and that cannot be, because an animal that lived that long would be on speaking terms with the locals by now.
I remember i have seen this image in doreamon movie😂😂
Woooww they were Literally showing truth and i always thought it was just for fun... 👏👏👏
😂😂
first twenty five minutes of this documentary presented camera footage evidence that i havent seen before and the sonar indication of a lochness-shaped figure. the two claims of loud boisterous disturbances in the water were also interesting.
So what do you do for a living?
I am the local monster hunter 🤣
13:12... the video shows trail which can only be caused by large object don't you think? an unidentified moving object definitely larger than poultry
As seen on the investigation of River Monsters, I still think it's an unusually large Sturgeon which are known to be able to grow to large large sizes
So I went outside and my DAMN BAR GOT ROBBED!
A single creature cannot survive for hundreds of years so a breeding tribe/school/ pod etc would be needed to continue and sightings should be more prevelent. Before the traditional answer of trapped dinosaurs, Lock Ness came into being after the last ice age long after dinos went extinct.
Recent DNA testing of the water has revealed the existence of eels. The lack of top end preditors may mean the existence of large specimens.
A person called gemmell admitted the 20% of the dna test results came back as unidentified
@@unotir7109 Please list your source and who is gemmell? Also unidentified means just that. It does not mean monsters.
Could the monsters be aliens, mutants or a tiny weany population of a very long living under-reproducing new species?
A person called adam stated categorically that the monsers were els
I went to Loch Ness. I saw Elvis water skiing and the boat was driven by Bigfoot.
Now yer talkin' !
The West end surgeon's photo on 9:30 shows a very small monster, given the size of the waves around it. Looks like a turtle in a pond.
Sooo hope there is something down there
Its a huge Catfish..a huge spotted Wells catfish...some pretty big Wolf Eels.also....GOD bless🙌🙌.
There's no big monster in the Loch, but the kid in me likes to think that long ago - there was.
Do another new one
On champ in lake Champlain ethers has Been some new sightings I believe there. 🤗

Good grief !! Are they selling bridges, also??
Have you noticed nobody names their kids Marmaduke anymore? Probably a good thing.
15 - 20 ft eels at sea? Not a chance! 7 - 10 ft max
I thought the same.
Ok so how is it tormented? It isn’t like Nessie is the town bully or leading a outlaw motorcycle gang and it takes Chuck Norris to ride in and save them
Whatever this huge creature is , loch Ness is not it's home.
Oh, shut up...
Im sure we will never know what in any large bodies of water. Things have been there forever & will be there long after these people are gone.
I am not so sure. You realise that they are looking for 30+ foot animals, not 'things' .They are looking for 1 example of 1 very large animal.
Now that virtually everyone carries a high-quality camera with them virtually all the time, the number of recorded images should be greatly increasing. Same for UFOs.
i wouldn't swim there. so dark
Freezing too to boot.
Food source add birds floating on top of the water and then there are reports of sheep disappearing . Even reports of severe rain storms where the creature can slide on wet ground on land short distances for sheep etc .
I need about tree fiddy
Don't u dare give em dat
@@oghash4912 i gave him a dollar
Let's wait & see. During the lockdowns of 2020 & 2021 without any or very few (noisy) boats or ppl on the water the critters must have felt more free than ever. It's likely someone secretly got good footage, so once over the fear of fines from breaking curfew they may release this footage💛
I do hope these beautiful creatures remain forever free❤️
Nessie might only be allowed to be seen by the locals. I wouldn't like to fight an overgrown forty feet snail. You wouldn't stand a chance.
Its been 2021, and they still believe in loch ness.
That was the wake from the boat women had on video 😂
Science Fiction Channel had a movie with same theory about it being all the same creature travels thru underwater caves into deep lakes and deep rivers all across the world and that's why creature has never been caught. Don't let them catch you creature they'll hurt you.
Tormented???Really?I would say the "monster"is a huge boost for the area with tourism etc
The black and white photo looks like the arm of a swimmer 🤔...im telling myself!! 🤯
The black and white is fake photo
Now, IF there was one of these in the loch at a time in the past. Where are it's bones? Seeing that the lake is a fresh water lake, wouldn't the bones still be there, or not? But, since it's been thousands of years since these existed, the probability of finding any bones is about like finding a 4 leaf clover. Not likely that any of these still exist. Not here anyway, not enough food and the water is too cold.
When was this actually filmed? Before or after Mr Edward's the boat captain hoaxed a photo for business?
The program (drain the ocean) to come and (drain the lake) ! Maybe there are caves way down at the bottom!
If these MONSTERS aren't destroying your town, you are getting ripped off! GO GODZILLA!
I visited the loch two years ago and loved the mystery but it's great for tourists!
Why do documentary keep showing the famous surgeons photo that's is a hoax as a proof.
I hate reenact especially when the woman hear just a noise and ran in the house for nothing, how's that a witness?
An old GPS setup and a fish finder isn't specialist kit.
They finally found the monster, just needed tree friddy
Water Kelpies
A Lapras.
The food chain to feed a large creature doesnt exist in the loch.
Nothing more than a big salmon or sturgeon. They have been known to grow to more than 20 feet in length. Like my one eyed snake monster
It's well known now a circus elephant went for a dip 👍
I notice we can't see anything in that film, reminds me of all the UFOs, grainy, fuzzy, and like all bank camera footage.
Those computers are way outta date. I doubt that he has updated programs to identify that creature in the picture.
😂😂
What if just what if that monster had actually swam up out of water unexpectedly while they on boat, they all be scared out their witts and boat would turn ova, they be all dead, never take a chance to see unknown, humans needs stay away let the monsters be.
The %25 Scottish I am believes in Nessie 😂❤
Hey Tom Clarke-Hill, where's Henry the Lizard?
ah the old rebranding a old docco trick
“Docco”? Are you Australian?
I don't think a lot of the people who claim to have seen it are telling the truth after listening to what they say. Some "eye witnesses" claim its this or that big, has flippers or 3 toed feet...., and some claim to be so shaken up that they continue to go near the water when they stated in interview that they're keeping their distance
When I first saw that obnoxious surgeons photo when I was about 10, it looked like a cut out then! Laughable!!!!
I love how documentaries always use the very stupid ' surgeon photograph' that fake monster is 12 inches long!
lol!!
I still love looking at it.
Tourism is good at Loch Ness. Would'nt want that to go away any time soon.....
I'm scottish and I fish different lochs ever week loch new just has a weird feeling about it
The feeling you are about to get munched down like a kit kat is common in places 'weird' sightings happen.
@@LTPottenger 😅😅
You have been 'primed'. I think that is what it is called in psychology. It is a normal reaction when you go to a loch that is 'supposed' to have a monster in it. Going into a house reputed to be 'haunted' feels different than going into a house without such a reputation. QED
@@simpsonmark okay professor X
Wait, why is Shiver posting a documentary that belongs to another source?
You are a liar.
The whole place looks pretty lifeless.
Didn’t realize Sean Connery was giving boat tours
That would be worthy of a documentary. He's been dead for about a year.
The klansman inn? 🤔
