I love how you are able to find very unique and different small spaces for us to view. This one is amazing in how much functionality they built into a very small space. And it must have worked well because of how long they have lived in this very small apt. Great video!

These are actually my favorite types of tiny houses. I hope we get to see more tiny houses which are like apartments in the city because it is something A LOT easier & accessible for people who can't live away from cities for work & doesn't have land access for building & parking a tiny house.

I agree! And I think there are many more opportunities for space-saving implements in apartments than often used since they are usually by default so small. We need more "tiny" apartments!

I agree. I would love to live smaller than I currently do. I live in 800 SF, but I would move smaller. I love the tiny house movement, but I don't want to live with composting toilets and no running water. I like the idea of small apartments.

I reckon they might have the essential tools (and maybe some extra) stowed away somewhere in the igloo, but I don't think they feel the need to constantly change their living space up. And they are incredibly fit and outdoorsy, maybe they just don't feel like spending a lot of time in a workshop doing projects that would need a boatload of tools anyway! :)

This is my all-time favorite tiny apartment. In a lovely city, in a building, on a higher floor, with trees outside and a reasonable price tag. That is a project possible in Tokyo. Love how clean and slick the kitchen is. The idea of hiding the bedroom is exceptional, as we really just sleep there. A small Asian man like myself should not hit the ceiling when I sit up. Bright and cheerful apartment 10/10. Thank you Bryce and Rasa for such a fabulous video!

But the idea that it's so private and probably a very silent and comfy place to totally cut out the world at night. Making you rethink the point of a bedroom, just a place to sleep, the rest of your home is your living space. I think this video truly shows more than just living big in a tiny space, it shows what it means to also just live and be aware of your space and what it's meant to serve you for. Thanks again for yet another great video and all the effort put into this channel to show us the viewer more ways to live!

@@joebryant8500 You would think they would have faboulas original works of art on the few walls they have. 🖼 A hot successful couple could get a bigger place in the same building also. I don't like how they lowered the ceilings in part of the downstairs to make room for that claustrophobic Loft sleeping area with no natural light. What's up with those stairs to try to maneuver in the middle of the night when you have to pee. I would have kept all the tall ceilings and Incorporated the bed under the living room area. Build a step up area to the living room with a pull-out sliding bed under. Then the bed disappears until needed. When you have a small square footage high ceilings create the illusion of more space. ✳

The thoughtfulness, planning, hard work, and love that go into these homes (and these videos too!) is inspiring. This is a growing trend, especially in larger cities or beautiful places where real estate prices are rising fast. I always feel that I can't save up fast enough to buy a house in my beautiful city, but these ideas give me hope that it is possible. And they remind me that I have more space than I need. Living with less makes us better humans, and probably encourages us to get outside more.

And what they’ve done with the entry being low and then leading into a taller volume is very Frank Lloyd Wright-ish. Only thing I would be worried about is being trapped in a fire as was previously mentioned. I’m surprised that is a legal build. But over all it’s very well designed.
