Excellent set! You nailed Twenty-Four Hours! It is difficult to replicate the sound of Joy Division, and you all did an admirable job! R. I. P. 18/05/1980
simply extraordinary. congrats
This imitation of Ian's dance is ridiculous...
Nic None thank you
Imitation is always ridiculous. A tribute band should pay tribute, not imitate.
BUT they play really good versions and I love the fact that they don't play synths.
@@andyskinner6806 it's better than i can do
Melhor banda cover....... thank you from Brazil.😎✌✌✌👊👊
Very well done guys, as you can see from my avatar, the band in general and this album in particular are very dear to me. I loved the performance, you paid tribute and the right spirit in the music was there. Brilliant!
Fuck me this band are just like the real thing amazing... When you hear new order playing joy division stuff it sounds fack all like the original material... This guy has cutis to a tee although I think he could leave out the Curtis manic dancing bit, but all said I tip my hat fuckin very good
I was born in Indianapolis and I am PROUD of this. ABSOLUTELY SUBLIME and wONDERFUL. JOY DIVISION FOREVER.
This is brilliant! Would love to see these guys in Brighton
The influencial impact that Joy Division had on the Music Industry is so unrealistic🖤
Best cover I never seen !
Listen joy division undercover 🙂
The bassplayer is a beast!!
yesssssss!!!!! is true.
Pretty poor 24 hours though - he has the basic riff wrong in both parts.
Music is spot on.
Awesome tribute!
Amazing. Thanks
Superb Joy Division covers :-)
Amazing 🖤
amazing
Brilliant!
excellent
brutal bass !!!
Nailed it
Great stuff!
quite enjoyable... eyes closed
Gracias por esto
Amazing!!!!
Pretty good.
Clap clap clap 24 hours
8:01 Nop, you can´t dance like Ian...
I do not think anyone can replicate Ian's dance
MOSHFIT!
hey, at least he tried lol, I would've made an ass of myself if i tried.
Great bass player!
Best Joy División tribute
Everything spot on but the dance is god awful 😬
Got Warsaw down!
9:35
Excelent!
Excelente
Cmon give him some credit he was a little shy doing the dance I’d be turning into an electric statical ball that’s the whole point with Ian is to express what you are
Can you guys make it to Phoenix
Que coisa lindaaaa
Lmao did the singer remove himself during Ceremony
I am not one for covers and think Joy Division shouldn't be touched. However this tribute band do a fantastic job at recreating the original experience. Better than Hooky's band and modern New Order's renditions. Loved the drums and vocals especially. The bass and guitars sounded excellent in the mix as well. Seems one of the guitars is out of tune, but more in tune than in most of the JD live bootlegs I've listened to. Greetings from Manchester.
Great sound. Really good tribute to JD. Please don’t do the dance though. It looks like some awful 80’s American movie dance! Better to just curl over the mic and sing. Like I say though, great vocally and musically
4 piece you wankers
Shouldn't really do the dance as it was personal to Ian. Good stuff though. The vocals would be better higher up in the sound.
Sounds just like the real thing, shame about the monkey in the middle having a seizure
Foda!
Great sound ( although I don't like the two guitar idea) and the vocals are great, but the dancing looks like my 75 year old dad trying to copy Ian. Man, take your moves back to the drawing board. It's letting the show down.
p.s. I've done some research after this show the singer didn't top himself the guitarist & drummer didn't turn in to ass hole's & sack the bass player also Santa & the tooth fairy & Easter bunny don't exist also you're dads may not be you're father's Joy division were not about dancing PHEW ime spent ha ha ha team HOOKY thankQ u again xx another new dawn fades
Taking Shadowplay as a sample, the guitar sound is not quite there, and the playing is really poor.
Thanks for your input.
You have TWO Guitarist - - - Put some power into it .
Long enough leader on this?
Ian não dance assim kkkkk.ian justificava a pelepisia.kjkk vcs ao qrer imitalo se tornam r.ele não dacanca ele se protegia se a doença acontecesse ms vcs não saibam disso
everything is good but you can't dance liki ian a watched dead souls band and they sound like joy and his singer dance and sing like ian. check'em ; )
Does this guy even know what he’s singing about? It’s a not jump for joy happy dance man, it’s Joy Division! What a terrible tribute to the band.
Yoon Kim thank you for your constructive criticism. The dance moves were cribbed from watching all the live videos of JD we could find. We apologize they do not meet your standards.
Just put some more emotion into it man. Sorry for coming in harsh, didn’t think I’d actually get a reply lol. I can’t knock people for doing what they love, especially music but Joy Division is one of my favorite bands and I just want to see a tribute done well.
Great sound Andrew fuck the begrudgers, Ian was an "anti dancer" anyway some people take JD way to seriously, keep up the good work.
Andrew Skinner you guys are well-rehearsed, and did a BEAUTIFUL tribute. I’ve been a fan since ‘79, saw them in ‘80...You guys gave me goosebumps!!!
yes your right
Its so easy to shit on a tribute band. Listen to yourselves. Shsdowplay sounds pretty good Right?
not sure what the point of this is when New Order are still going. Technically ok, but something queasy about it all.
The point is you don't go to a New Order show to hear Joy Division songs, am I right? This is simply a tribute to the songs of Joy Division from 5 big fans.
The vocal sound eerily similar to Ian Curtis the bass player is amazing and the drummer is phenomenal but that silly dancing has to go it ruins the whole performance. Everything else is great but get rid of that stupid dancing part and you will have a number one Joy Division tribute band
Appalling.
sound like a school band-shame on you!!!!!,leave curtis rest in peace, god wat waardeoos-the lookalike dance is sick
bierig blondje thanks for the input
Bruh stfu
très déçu par cette pâle imitation : c'est mal jouée (guitare solo) et parfois juste singé (chanteur)
Awful crowd
Ver y out of tune
unprofessional..
Maryvine Official Band wait, how?
I strenuously disagree! I found the music to be a apt tribute...
@@andyskinner6806 - i have to disagree . i watched the whole gig an really enjoyed it - i'm the drummer with UK based JD tribute band called facebook.com/KomakinoJoyDivisionTributeBand/ . . .. . . . an the dance thing is a difficult entity!!! we choose not to do it .........as against what most people think IAN was a good dancer which was based in mood tension an rhythm .....you can see clearly he's picked a lot from Northern Soul moves ---- an we know these guys could move an shuffle across the floor so lightly on the floor hardly noticeable ...... Keep up the good work. Neil,
