Hey ! Very nice video ! Just wanted to tell that enabling the linear-phase mode on the EQ actually doesn't prevent artefacts, in fact it actually produces one called pre-ringing (it's due to the algorithm used to keep the phase similar before and after EQ-ing). Pre-ringing isn't always a bad thing, but it takes some transients away so I wouldn't recommend it on sounds with an important transient. Generally, Minimal Latency EQ (default one) works better for percussive elements because it creates no pre-ringing and linear phase EQ is more commonly used on melodic elements, but as always this is not a rule, just try to see what works best !
You know I actually don’t know so much about EQ’s so this is very helpful. There’s a lot to learn, and a friend of mine is a music professor so I might just sit in his class for a bit lol.❤️
