Great content great video truly helping out a big possible decision I’m trying to make as a family which is a big move from California to somewhere in this area since my son gotten an offer from Concordia University of Chicago to play football since the school is in Forest River was curious what close by places look like in case we all move as a family lol
That is so appreciated! I absolutely love that 🧡 Thank you so much for this comment - it truly made my night 🙂 I would highly recommend Oak Park , Illinois. Those are definitely great places to live and the neighborhood is very nice. Give the suburban vibes but you’re also very close to the city of Chicago. So you can travel directly to the downtown area - Randolph and Fulton Market Districts for great vibes and food. Downtown Oak Park is great for restaurants - shopping and arts. The post office (I used to work at) is within walking distance as well. Has great community and courageous (restaurant) - is soooo good. Nice little breakfast cafe that is so awesome. Definitely worth moving to. Also - check out my other video of Oak Park - it’s a look inside of the actual neighborhood. Not just the downtown area there. I love California as well though! We thought about moving to California for photography reasons but our family is here - so I totally understand about wanting to move to be closer to your son.
Thank you!! ☺️ I was hoping to get more of the neighborhood on the first clip but turned down the wrong way lol. I should’ve went left instead of right because it was more residential housing. But I’m going back again to do a neighborhood walk to get more residential views.
Thank you! I appreciate your feedback - I loved Oak Park’s vibe - it was super chill and relaxing to walk. Thanks so much! I love vibrant colors for thumbnails.
youve done such a great job of reaching places on my wishlist... just so you know, my current wishlist is: (in order) 1-devon lil india 2-beverley near givins castle 3-hermosa 4-humboldt park 5-polish area of jefferson park awesome if you get to all these, if not, i'd still be fun to be surprised with what you have in store... as long as its not the loop or mag mile lol!
I appreciate you sharing your list of places 💕 I will definitely record those places shortly. Might not be in that order yet but they will be recorded for you 😊 I do have a video of the ‘South Loop’ available tomorrow LOL! By request but I put my own little spin on it as I don’t like going deep into the downtown area 🤣
Hey! I think the festival is being held near the northside this year. I heard they have an entire week planned for the festival for different events. I’m sure it’s going to be great! 🧡
Nope! I know exactly what you’re talking about. But the book table is definitely still there. I love it. I’ll go back and show more of the area there 🩵

Great walking tour😊
Thank you! 🙂💕
It is the birthplace of actor Langston Kerman. Beautiful city.
I love Oak Park - I had no idea but that is truly amazing. Thank you for that information!

Hi! Is this the area Chicago Film Festival is being held?
Hey! I think the festival is being held near the northside this year. I heard they have an entire week planned for the festival for different events. I’m sure it’s going to be great! 🧡
No more Kite Harbor? 😢 Well at least the Book Table is still there...

Oak Park that's where a good portion of Chicago gangsters lived.
Why don't you have all the streets you are walking down ?
@@db8799 Because I show houses in my videos and do not want to put the exact location for the streets I walk down.
