The fact that if you search up Rasputin on google you find that he looks exactly the same as he does here, and the way he died in the movie was how he really died irl is just amazing. It shows how much effort and detail the writers put in to make it not only interesting but believable and accurate.

rasputin wasn't even evil tho
@@cheeseslice6264 He behavior was certainly strange, but there’s no evidence that he committed any crimes.
So, on the subject of Alexei, he had hemophilia which meant he tended to bruise easily and bleed profusely when hurt. Rasputin actually had a good track record with these attacks, not through any magical powers but by calming Alexandria, which in turn would help Alexei stay calm but also telling her not to let the doctors give him aspirin. Yes, that's right, the doctors were giving a hemophiliac a blood thinner. It's one of those weird instances where the right advice was given but without understanding why it was working.
To be fair, aspirin was a "cure-all", panacea of it's time. It was newly invented (less than 20 years in mass production) and, as a mild medicine, had some good properties. The problem was not only that they gave it to Alexei, but they gave it to everyone - bigger the problem, bigger the dose. And that resulted in quite a few needless deaths in those early days. Especially during the Spanish Flu. Doctors didn't know what exactly to do, how to help, so in many cases they were giving huge doses of aspirin to patients.
It did not work. Surprise.
As you said, it is strange when good advice is given but without the actual knowledge of why it is good.
Rasputin : "I have an idea to save you son : prevent the doctors from killing him"
He probably had extremely acute observation skills, with his deep stares that dosen't blink, skills neede for a sceintist, a monk and a love machine.

Hello again, account that is somehow in every comment section on RUclips.
This trailer was done so well I actually thought that they were making a movie about rasputin only for the words "king's man" to pop up.
I was really excited about it because it was done so well, exactly what a trailer is meant to do, though it is definitely likely that these moments won't be better than this one trailer.
Get someone like Scorsese to direct a fast paced movie about Rasputin, and it would be number 1 at the box office
Rasputin’s story is so intriguing and interesting that you really don’t have to try that hard to make a good movie plot about him. I would love a movie specifically about him

@@matteoallodi8030 That would’ve been fantastic, he’s the only reason I was interested in the film!
I love a good villain whose not threatening in a normal sense. Rasputin looks like he’s having a lot of fun while being evil.
Like your Average Super Villain, Lovable and Evil
Interesting fact: there is a good deal of evidence that suggests that Rasputin was, in fact, not actually evil. Uneducated, unwashed, unsanctioned by the church but deeply spiritual, he fell into an advisory role for Tzar and his wife. A Role he did his best to fill with what wisdom he had. This, of course, did not sit well with aristocracy or the church, so they made moves to remove him. And the press, only just getting used to having freedom, painted him as black as they could because that's what the data they had said. Better standards of journalism could have done so much to change what befell the man.
But. There are a few . . . less savory notes, and it's unclear if those are real or if they're just a side effect of his hideous reputation + hard feelings from old flames/jealousy of the mass/the desire to be famous at all costs.
@Griffith did nothing wrong the first two comments…?

This is the comment I was looking for 😂
It’s not hard to find work when your this good
Best bit about that episode was the Daleks and Cyberman looking at each other going 'WTF!?' when the Master started dancing...
Man This Song Makes This Character More AWSOME! 😱👏🏻👏🏻
This, THIS, sir, is what 007 was supposed to be. Posh, sassy, and fancy! Happy to see the idea of super-spy lives through The King's Man.
Rhys Ifans had waaaaaaayyyyyyy too much fun with this role and it shows
😂 yes.
I really hope this film has a soundtrack like the first one. If this song makes an appearance it'll make my day
HELP MY!!! My muscles are too big! I am a big tall man and my muscles are even BIGGER! I use them to get views but they HURT so much!!! Because they are heavy. Do you have any advice, dear max
Я не знаю, заметил ли кто-то, но актёр на роль Распутина подобран очень качественно, по внешности - практически идеально.

I love every scene of Rasputin, it was marvellous. Legendary and deserve an Oscar award
it is the master.
Its harold saxon
Chibnall who isn't canon
@@abs419.9 LMAO.
LMHO.
To this day I still cannot believe that this guy was actually a real person. Like I knew of him long before this movie and knowing this random peasant controls basically the royal family is absolutely insane.
but there is a photo of him
I will also throw out there, Yes he was just a monk. but praise be to god he was a weird monk. And I absolutely love how the soviet union painted him tbh. Sure being a monk is badass as hell but being a SORCERER? no wonder why we love him so much nowadays.
The first time I heard of Rasputin I no joke said that this dude needs a movie.
Grew up listening to this song. I'm glad it's getting the recognition it deserves, especially in America.
This song is considered a classic in America, very popular!
I discovered the song earlier this year or last year and I am obsessed with it
@@brianorozco1074 if you like "Rasputin", then you should also give "Ma Baker" (also sung by boney M) a try. Pretty catchy.
It's never not had recognition, only because it's getting popularised... again, by this.
@@josefstrauss9017 yes, Ma Baker and other good songs by Boney M were the tunes I listened to growing up.
I love how all the new comments are just talking about Doctor Who.
I saw it yesterday. What a legendary movie!
Ahhhhh i need to find time to watch it too. Seems like I will enjoy it
was there any nudety n stuff wanna see it but mom prob wont let me watch if if there is
@@stoopiddipnut1473 Duuude... I mean it's Kingsman. There is probably ton of blood and etc. and even in trailer someone got decapitated, but if there is any nudity then it's not ok? Anyway I'll tell you after watching the film if nobody tells you.
@@stoopiddipnut1473 Bro i saw the movie there is no nudity at all but there's some of a sexual humour from Rasputin himself.
@@predator7028 alright i dont mind that might watch it in my spare time
Rhys Ifans was having the time of his life with this role. Best part of the movie
eyeball paul :))
After he played lizard in the amazing Spider-Man and in no way home.
The only good part of the movie!
I can't believe they actually went and hired Rasputin.
Yeah. Not to mention sorcerers that resurrect people are expansive nowadays.

He was the single best thing in this movie....I wish he had more scenes.
Yeah, because 16 shots from this video aren't in the film and 14 of those shots are of Rasputin but were cut because this film's production was an absolute mess and it was delayed by nearly 2 years.
@@WarTinder You mean the whole movie is NOT about him...I'm not going to see it then.
@@jjh9355 i watched it. It was shocking in ways, but it is true. He is not the main guy.
@@jjh9355 He's barely in it and the final time he shows up is about 40 minutes in and then he's out of the film for the remaining 90 minutes.
0:49 no one is going to talk about this comeback?
It's reversed in the movie
The costume/styling of this man looks so freaking great in fight scenes, II would probably see this movie just for those sequences alone...let alone the fact it's a Kingsman film!
Rhys Ifans sure has a reputation for whispering in a king’s ear
Rhys ifans is one of the most underrated actors ever.
No kidding! My view of him is still shaped by The Replacements as a hard-drinking soccer player who is itching for a sexual harassment lawsuit. And that’s despite the fact that I’ve seen him in Elementary as the cultured and intelligent Mycroft Holmes
Well his work in amazing Spider-Man wasn’t anything to write home about but I agree. In this he was the perfect person for the role
Rhys Ifans is so amazing! I hope he gets all the credit he deserves
Leg-end
Music choice and actor for Rasputin are exactly what we needed
Rhys Ifans (Welsh (British) Actor)
This. Movie could have attained the crazy heights of the first King's Men if not for its convoluted and unfocused story and also, had Vaughn focused on Rasputin as the major and sole antagonist. The Rasputin scenes were the highlight of this film.
What an awesome way to use a character like Rasputin. strong, mysterious, kind of silly but will surprise you with how deadly he is underneath.
yes, there are defenetely something he could use as a deadly weapon underneath of his robe - about 13 inches....IN A SOFT CONDITION!

Best part is that the description says "Meet Rasputin, Russia's Greatest Love Machine"
Love it
Stalin was puppet to glοh βαh lιςτς. While Russia was ΚοΜΜυΝιςτ, there was never any sanctions. Trade was very strong between the USA, …including the deep state. Meanwhile Rasputin was an Orthodox Christian holy man, a very good man, who was, and still is, demonised, by the true evil monsters. You’re being groomed and indoctrinated.
I honestly would watch this just for Rasputin, 😂
I am going to watch this just for Rasputin and no one can stop me lol
That's my plan. Watching this for the brilliant actor basking in his role.
For us! Russian!
Agree
Omg yessss ❤️
I am watching this over and over again after 2 years
