Comments are completely naive. The pile driving and frequencies being set forth by the instillation of wind farms is absolutely killing the whales. Period. In NJ, the seas are relatively empty right now. This is considered the "off season" for most private and charter vessels. Other than ships going through the Ambrose channel which is extremely deep. There is a correlation between the construction as well as the whale deaths.
I came to this video bc of the abundance of whales I see dying on Twitter and believe 100% it's wind turbines. And I bet the people who made this video were paid to say they were not killed by turbines
Lol. Orsted is originally old oil money. Diamond offshore wind is run by old Enron oil execs(I'll not name names). They're all from the same group, at the end of the day energy companies who's bottom line is the almighty dollar. Anyone who thinks any different is naive And in all honesty, unfortunately offshore wind needs to cover a massive amount of ground testing with their sonar/seismic equipment vs an oil company completing geophysical work. It's not even close.
I've been interviewing people who have been fighting against offshore wind for 2 years. At this point, there are just as many democratic voters as republican or apolitical folks who are opposing offshore wind. I've yet to meet anyone who got dollar one from an oil company. And we are having this conversation on a social media channel that is at least partially owned by a green energy lobbying nonprofit which, I would presume, has some offshore wind interests in their portfolio of clients. (I am referring to Global Commons Alliance, which is a partner in the NowThis Earth brand.) It's a fairly large and seemingly nebulous organization, but I have researched and reported on several of the PR efforts to dismiss the impacts of OSW surveys over the last few months which all use the same basic script. And guess what? They all trace back to NGO's with hefty offshore wind donations. Every freaking one. The one convenient thing about this is that I can just keep copying and pasting my work everywhere, because all the PR arms just continuously recycle the same talking points that were hastily assembled in January/early Feb.
@@TheMaineReset Hi. Shipping has been going on for a long time and sonar has too. Whales have been dying and beached for ever as well. Zero oil exploration in the region where the whales are dying. But you're right, maybe one of those six-pack rings for cans of soda is floating out there killing the whales.
Better believe we do. Every NJ fisherman knows what's going on right now. It has zero to do with anything other than the instillation of these windfarms. The frequencies of the pile drivers and the survey teams are killing these animals. Our waters are quite clean in the Ambrose channel. Also, boats both private and charter are docked right now in our off season.

How scientific 😮
We can blame the fishing industry all day long but it still doesn't explain the uptick
They also said the same thing about something being safe and effective.
Definitely Believe the opposite of what she said. At the end it sounded like speculation and biased opinion. The data is coming out slowly and surely.
Whenever I see that report that has been made specifically to say its nothing to do with that thing. I think, it's to do with that thing.
Actually they said there's no proof. Lol.
They're basically saying "prove it with a smoking gun"
Wow all of a sudden boats and whales are colliding together more often ? The whales must be losing their eye sight .
The better question be would be:
Could US SONAR arrays be interfering or jamming the SONAR of whales? Hmm....
When are the throwbacks from the 15th century going to realize wind turbines are killing all sorts of living creatures
But but oil is bad
YES they are, they are firing very low frequencies causing them to die and the wind farms have pernission to do this.
I see you forgot your meds

So windmills are killing whales how ?
Windmills turn grain into flour. Unless these whales are dying in fields in Kansas, I doubt it.

Yes... I wonder the guy that created it I remember the dwelling..sorry
it's from undersea oil exploration a new technique they use
They’re mapping ocean floor using hi powered sonar radar .., whales are confused
Agreed. I met a whale in Target once that couldn't find the home appliance section.
lol - it’s DEFINITELY NOT the wind turbines. 🫠
