It is blaming one guy, but in the playoffs your studs have to be the studs man. Just like in the NFL, the QB gets more credit and more blame then they deserve. Sid, Ovi, McKinnon, Gretz, Messier, Malkin, Kane, Vasi, etc. These guys are all stars and they shined the brightest when it mattered most.
Marner is such a puss tho.. doesn’t even battle.. atleast the other guys are showing some heart. He just sulks and whines and snaps his head back.. fuck that. Nothing new tho typical playoff leafs. Go Canucks. Hopefully petey can figure it out or he’ll be off to Utah as well.

Interesting matchup, Rangers aren't a great 5v5 team but they finish and have a top special teams unit. Rangers have a better goalie and Carolina struggles to finish at times.

I’ll say That I do think The Rangers will beat Carolina regardless but if The Isles push it another game then I think it will be easier beating the canes. They’re down two really important key players and The Rangers will be well rested. Rangers also have more and better depth.

Jets fan here, I’ve been backing the jets core the whole time they’ve been here and always had hope they could get it done. But the jets have truly proven they don’t have what it takes, they honestly have to blow it up. They just don’t have the right kind of guys, these guys could be great somewhere else but they’re not a winning team as constructed. I’m really not sure there’s an untouchable on the nhl roster outside of Josh Morrisey.

I’m with the ice crew with the Abbotsford Canucks, Our goalies Silovs and Tolopilo were the reason we managed to get into playoffs. Only reason they aren’t on the Vancouver roster is cause we have demko and desmith already tbh
Leafs are a top 10 team but not top 5. So them being down 3 games to 1 is not shocking. Bruins beat them every game this year easily. Why are people shocked by the same thing in the playoffs.
Also had bad luck and goaltending wasn't as stellar. Healthier players and a bit more luck and easily we could be up 3-2.
I'm a bit surprised x players are so surprised. Why aren't they going after the other teams that are down 3-1. I love the Leafs but they were never a top cup contending team this year.

I dont care how many so called playoff type players you add to a team. If your stars arent the best players on the ice for your team, they will not win in the playoffs. You can have a billion regular season points, but if you arent producing or leading from the front in the playoffs the team has no shot. Especially on a team like the Leafs where a couple guys are making so much money. There is a reason guys like Sid, Stamkos, Kuch, Bergeron all took a little less, it is so they could be surrounded with more talent top to bottom. Toronto could sure use a guy like Hyman right now digging out some greasy goals.
