Probably not many folk who can afford a new bike and those tested on press release events are usually in great weather, on smooth roads and with free food, drink, accomodation and entertainment for the 'tester' - so not that useful as we don't see great weather or smooth roads in the UK and the review will be biassed due to the good time the reviewer is having. BMW R1200/1250R is always the answer
The music on these videos has improved
I’m just not sure why this channel amongst others feels like we need to be at Creamfields every 10 seconds, less is more ffs!
@@adamc209 true, the whole thing could be shorter
XC might’ve snagged him 🍻
Another happy customer LOL
I like to think that Phil went away knowing more about his next bike than when he arrived that morning! And that’s a win for me.
Cheers, Michael
What bike do you regret buying. Me me.
Easy. My current Triumph Speed RR. Massive buyer regrets 😞
Should have put him on a Kawasaki Versys 1000, think it would have suited him 👍
And yet Superbike told me they weren’t allowing test rides anymore.
Should have gone with the base model africa twin 1100l
Have you ridden a boxer engine before. He had a r1100r and a r1150gs………
Too much power!! What a wimp. I own an R1250RS with the same engine as the 1250R, wicked😂
It's actually pointlessly powerful. A triumph 1200 at 80 horses is too much to drive legally while going full bore. His 900 is just a legal all the time sort of power level
@@logangodofcandy boring!! 😴
Easy to say no one should have cars when you live in London. Shutdown the entire tube network for a week, then see how smart they are without cars.
Phil should of got a Kawasaki 750 Turbo 😁
Dunno how no ine recommended thr Tracer 900
Yes, it would have been a great solution but a) they didn't have anything suitable in stock, and b) I'm not sure it'd have enough seat-to-peg space (without trying it).
Cheers, Michael
What is happening to the quality of your sound? Everything else is great
I suspect a little too much gain. Mind you, it's very much dependant on what we listen with. My headphones sound blown out but my phone sounds spot on.
@@somatyk I am overly critical. It was fine. He should have picked the Ducati.
"Just under 15.000 miles".
So it's due for it's desmo lol.
Must be related to John Vilums
I’ve had twins too..
Triumph Speedtwin 1200
Yamaha Tracer 9GT
Aprilia Tuono
Nice choices. I'd have loved the Tuono but I think Phil might have seen it as a licence threat!
I love my R1250R
when i was watching i was wondering if they suggest a bmw 1200r or the later model....i have one and love it ...
Ah, you were close. It’s a great bike and I’m surprised Phil didn’t snap it up.
maybe a harley 3 wheeler since he might not be able to hold up a two wheeler
